  1. What a great line: Nobody is "owed" snow. I bet there are a few on this forum who disagree.
  2. This was a fun one to track and a good winter storm.
  3. I had 6” of snow and 2+ inches of sleet and still pouring sleet.
  4. One of the Mets can chime in but the winds are now out of the northeast - off the ocean. Am I wring to assume this is influencing the Zr/sleet we are seeing?
  5. Probably 5 inches of snow and another inch or two of sleet.
  6. I feel you (71). I did all I could - half the driveway all the sidewalk. Drank about 16 ozs of water. Got on a local list in my subdivision for snow shoveling kids. They will have to finish it.
  7. Sleet, lots of it in Olney. Shoveled my sidewalk and half the driveway. My snowblower would not start and I had it tuned up this week.
  8. Just reshoveled my poop walk for the dogs. When I shoveled it this morning, I was at 4 inches and I could barely see where I shoveled earlier. Sleeting like crazy. Many pingers!
  9. Just hearing pingers in Olney. Snowing moderately w/tiny flakes and I assume some of it is sleet.
  10. The flakes have gotten very small in Olney; steady, but not as heavy as earlier.
  11. I am at 5 inches and snowing heavily. Winds whipping the powdery stuff around. No sign of sleet, yet.
  12. Wind has picked up, much gustier. Still ripping flakes. No pingers yet.
  13. Still snowing heavily in Olney. Can hear snowplows off in the distance from my back door. No sleet, no pingers.
  14. I am jealous of you all who are kicking back and drinking or whatever. I have snow blowing and shoveling in my very near future. I need to be clear headed to make sure I know when to stop (I am probably older than many on this board).
  15. I just finished shoveling a “poop” pathway off my patio and into the backyard. I have two little dogs (Papillon and Cockapoo). The snow is still very light and fluffy.
  16. I walked away from this thread about 11 pm last night, hoping to return to reason and weather (as if they go together), and it looks like we rebounded and are back in the game. Everyone take a valium and a deep breath and we will get one day closer to this storm.
  17. 3.5 inches IMBY in Olney. Still coming down.
  18. Light snow in Olney, moistening the sidewalk, but not enough to stick.
  19. Flurries stopped in Olney. At least it feels like snow.
