If that is the scenario we end up with on Tuesday (SN+ around rush hour) I hope the city school system has the good sense to close early. Otherwise the afternoon run around to pick up the kids is going to be a cluster.

It's always interesting to see how the caving plays out. My sidewalk has whitened up but my neighbor's across the street is still just wet. (NE Baltimore)

Nice big ones coming down steadily in NE Baltimore. The sidewalk I shoveled is finally starting to cover over again.

I've made zero progress on that freelance project. Time for beer number two.

Street in front of the house is fully caved. Cross street, which always seems to take longer despite being a less major road, is about halfway there.

Light snow in NE Baltimore, not much change in coverage. About to pour a stout while I finish up some freelance work and hope school is closed Monday.

Parking lot and street at school (NE Bmore) are thick with cave. Still snowing at a good clip. Pushed the field trip back a week. Looks like the City is going to hang on and hope for the best. Unless the system is on time dismissal is going to be a mess. Some parents already came and picked their kids up.

Yeah I don't necessarily think they're wrong. I was surprised so many systems canceled outright. The city is just so unable to handle winter weather that it's going to miserable for a lot of people if we do get real weather. The crowd of people replying to the BCPSS Twitter threatening lawsuits always amuses me.

Baltimore City just announced they are opening on time. Hope they made the right call, because it's a disaster in this city when they're wrong.
