North Con and Bartlett have done really well. The plow piles in the Notch and the Attitash area are getting pretty high.
Hopefully those who couldn't snowmobile in Dec and Jan, can get out at least once in the coming week. The sun is strong now and this will start melting immediately

The radar I use shows the lightning. I came here to see if it was ground truthed and I read the posts that some of you are having thunder snow. FANTASTIC!!!

Heaviest snow all season happening right now
-
Weird- it has been super windy- started getting some good gusts last night right before bed. Woke up this morning and it was just cranking. And then the heavy snow kicked in. Then within the last 30mins, the winds have calmed down a lot.

Not sure how much I got. I’ve been in the hospital with a kidney abscess since Monday. Hopefully I’m getting out tomorrow. I think sledding season is over for me though.
Hope you get better soon!!!

Did they get shadowed or something?
Yeah, the Bretton Woods is sort of like a plateau that is surrounded by mountains like a "U" laying on its side. And the plateau is highest right at the point where 302 meets up with Crawford Notch on the Bretton Woods side, but slopes quite dramatically down hill towards the CT River Valley over a short distance

Looks like Cranmore got around a foot. Haven't checked Attitash but that fits with my thinking thay Cranmore and Attitash doing well, and Bretton Woods getting a light accumulation

Off and on light snow in BW. Not much accumulation. It is quite blustery today, so any snow that does fall is blowing and swirling around. Most likely won't amount to more than an inch or 2.

Nothing exciting happening in Bretton Woods, just off and on light snow. It is quite blustery. Not much accumulation 1-3 for this storm is probably gonna be the outcome

Damn look at that cutoff in the Bretton Woods area. That a super sharp line between the haves, and the have not. Attitash looks to do well and Bretton Woods could end up with maybe 3 inches if we are lucky

Go go go. How's the knee
Knee is ok, not skiing this year. The recovery period took longer than normal because my kneecap wouldnt track correctly for a few months after I was allowed to walk without the brace and crutches. But, things feel good now. The knee is just stiff and I have to work on that hamstring. Maybe ski next season.

Looks like a general 4-6 from Bretton Woods to Conway.
Super powdery here in BW

Lol! I was just thinking how happy I am that there is light in the sky at 550pm and that we are now closer to the first day of spring than we are the first day of winter...

I'm ready for spring. I'm happy it was an easy winter.

-17 mid mountain Bretton Woods, -9 at Whitefield Airport

Not a fan of this. Thank God it is basically just a hit and run scenario and temps back up to mid 30s by Sunday. Mid mountain lodge at Bretton Woods is reporting -17. The wind is ridiculous. The way the cold hits when I go outside, it literally feels like I'm not wearing any clothes even though I'm fully dressed.
