  1. Although the CMC was pretty cold too. To be honest I've stopped looking at it.
  2. That's the feature where it seems like the GFS may have been overdoing it compared to most other guidance, re how far south and strong that cold pushes. We will see if it corrects here shortly.
  3. It's not that la la land, given the trough orientation is important
  4. Should we really be using the extended progs though?
  5. I suppose it's time to restart my model subscription(s). What's everyone using these days?
  6. I suppose you might be the only one interested and already have it lol
  7. Does it go any further or is that all it does on the off runs?
  8. Which is a shame because I'd really like to know what it would have done at 18z and 6z in this instance to know how it stacks up against the OP.
  9. I think CT is good. The worst solution is still giving the southern zones warning snows.
  10. Ant you are in the New England sub forum. If you are going to post things like "we all win" then post the frames for all of New England.
  11. Yeah I saw that for the last 2 runs. I hate to say convective feedback because it's not a model artifact so I won't say it.
  12. Your wife probably thinks you are rubbing one out, and sometimes she'd be wrong.
  13. The difference in the 50/50 between the good and bad GFS runs is negligible.
  14. Of course what this is REALLY about is whether the blocking prevents it from cutting, prevents it from kicking it out east progressively, or both. The concern at the moment is the second one.
