Keep in mind that it is mud season in northern NE and it's probably worth sticking to paved roads unless you have 4wd and good ground clearance. The ruts are real.
Lots of eclipse pilgrims stuck in the mud. I can’t wait to see the pics of Honda Pilots with CT plates stuck in mud halfway up the driver side door.

Got down to 42 on my run by the water just now. The ocean effs me for warmer days and then keeps me warm enough to thwart snow threats. FFS.
That’s the plan within 2-3 years.

What a day 55-65 across a good chunk of SNE currently

I heading to Rochester for this. For some reason, I thought it was closer than a 6-7 hour drive when booking it.

Euro was also west of 00z. At the least it's more rain.

Supposedly it's still pretty neat with cloud cover, like all of a sudden it gets pitch black like night. I'll be up in NNH too, but I'm not sure where to go.
Heading to WNY. Hoping for at least some breaks of sun.

Retiring by the end of the decade?

I think 62? I’d have to look. Been lots of 55-60. Nights are warm. I have stuff coming up that’s the earliest in the 10 years I’ve been here.
If Ray is right…maybe we winter again towards the end of the decade.

Might actually get a rumble of thunder predawn Friday. Almost like a weak MCS rolling through. But Friday itself looks lousy. Even snowy near the whites and to Tamarack.
Shoot. Flying out at 11am. If you hear a loud F this winter coming from BOS…you’ll know who’s yelling.

I’m sure our New England spring will live up to its usual suck.

Better than the dewpoint discussions coming to this board soon enough.
That’s when I check out completely unless a cane makes a pass at us.

Everybody has their own ideas on how to dress themselves lol..who gives a flying F**k what folks wear? Wear whatever ya want. Shorts at 35 is ridiculous…but if that’s your thing, knock yourselves out. If there’s no breeze and it’s sunny and 60, then I could see myself wearing shorts. But again, who cares lol.
When you’re running 6 miles and there’s sun…running in shorts isn’t so ridiculous at 35F. Anyway, the weather is so exciting, why not talk about temperature thresholds for running in shorts???

It looks like a 5 day window where something could pop, 3-17-3/21..before the non-winter pattern re-asserts itself.
Good. I’ll be in FL.

Nothing broke SNE’s way all winter. D6 in April is when we make our stand. Yeah right. Puff, puff, pass.
