1/10 looks like a decent SWFE now. I wouldn’t be shocked if we get more snow out of that than from 1/7.

You have to make lemonade out of the lemons. My first thought is “well maybe that’s how it will be and I can easily remove snow and have a more relaxing Sunday”
Maybe just a quick pass and then let it all wash away 48 hours later…

The trolls will be on as the snow is falling to let us know it will all be vaporized with the rainer on the 10th.

Sox trade sale for Grissom.
Joke is on the Braves. I would have settled for a box of Saltines for Sale.

The 2nd week of January, beginning Jan 7th-ish, looks like torchiest (?) period so far this season. Whoever gains a pack prior will be wiped out during this window.
Very strong signal for significant +T anamolies with duration.Thinking this will be weenie cliff-jump period.
Closing the shades. Reassess around 1/20.

Can't get away from the fact that 3 of the last 6 years to date have sucked. That's what stood out to me in that chart.
What a time to be alive!

We can’t get every storm guys. We gonna blow every precip record away?
Lol.
Dry has to happen some time; unfortunately it’s with the cold.
Fine by me. Let’s just do dry with sun and little wind.

We’re now at about 2 years where it is like pulling teeth trying to get 3+ in a single event. FFS already.

1.00" since Sunday and 7.25" for the month. Taking two weeks off for the holidays each year and it's usually the same period we get into these funks. Maybe next year will be different. Just got to shrug your shoulders at this point and look for a break on the horizon.
Same. One event while I’m off at the end of December would be so nice. Maybe next year.

I think we’re quickly moving the goalposts from a near normal season to solidly below. This doesn’t mean we can’t have a good/fun stretch at some point. Not sure of a true rat yet.
Today is just another day where it feels and smells like we’re mid-rat.

This is precisely the type of season capable of providing climo snowfall right up the coast clear into se coastal SNE in one system.
Remember I said this about 4-6 weeks from now.
A 30-50” KU?

Well everyone knew the second he came out with his big cold and snowy pattern for the East coast for all of January we knew it was likely over . Everything he forecasts turns to toilet paper
TP season is near. I’ll start rooting for a rat within the next few weeks if we’re still sitting with little.

Wrapping up November Part 2 this weekend. Hints of a rat growing stronger day by day. Week by week. Nearing piss or get off the pot time.

As much as Tblizz doesn’t want to hear it, a lot of things have gone right around here up until last winter. So for these parts we are due to go through a shit stretch. But yeah overall, would be nice to see something break right.
Regression is a b!tch. Merry Christmas!

Monitoring first regional significant winter impact event. Magnitude likely tempered. At this time NE PA/SE NY and SNE primarily. Jan 7/8.
