It's been like 200 yard visibilty for about 2 hours now. Just blasting. Impossible to say how much on the ground, but Brett just said about 7"....it's all of that. If it stays like this for another hour we'll be close to 10 hereN RI is getting crushed...and adjacent SE MA like near our butterfish poster....gotta be near 10" in those spots now. Our poster up in Mendon was at 9" in extreme SE ORH county where they've been persistently under good banding.

Visibility is maybe 250 yards now in heavy heavy snow. Good stuff

heaviest snow if the storm by far....based on my landmarks, it's under 1/8m....This is how we'll get to 18+ today (if we do)

S+, nice big flakes. Not seeing the sustained winds we had last week. It seems to be coming in huge gusts, then dropping to dead calm before ramping up again.
No melting down in these parts....great storm for this area

Looks like 3+ so far but it's so windy it's tough to tell. S+ with 31/31
Reports of power outages already in Raynham, but all good here. Generator on standby anyway, so it's fine either way.

Just checked outside, looks like very heavy snow, grass mostly covered now. 32/31...no mixing here.
Can Raynham hit 30"? -

Cranky is saying that the fact that the trof is sweeping and not digging and the fact that the low is racing ENE means that the Eastern guidance will win out. What does the forum think?
He's been saying out to sea, east east east for a week about this storm. He's either going to look like a genius or a stubborn idiot (hopefully the latter).

83/74 here on York Beach. Definitely hotter and way muggier than the last 2 days. Thankfully, the water is seaweed free, and relatively warm (for coastal Maine)
