I am pretty sure that wording was in error. There has been no confirmed tornado.
Thanks for the clarification and I’m glad. Keep up the good work being on top of things for us. We need the NWS to be strong.

I saw the language in that tornado warning used “large and destructive” describing the tornado. Hope everyone is ok. Looks like worst action is south of me.

I hate the heat coming up, but it has been so cool I can’t complain much. Severe Thunderstorm Watch is up.

Ended up with very heavy rain but little severe here - likely some flooding in the area. I wanted a late night snack at Wawa but they closed on DoorDash.

Tornado watch up until midnight. First of the year

Heavy but needed rain here earlier. Got lucky considering what is going on in NJ.

Do you think there will be a watch issued today? I don’t see any yet

After last night's half inch we're at 15 inches for the season here. Hopefully we're not done. I know there's some cold air in the long range for early March, so there's some hope.
But in the meantime I'm looking forward to finally getting some warmer temps next week. 50s will feel great after this week's very cold weather. The wind chill today is brutal.
I’m a winter fan and it goes by too quickly but I agree - ready for a break. Been sick for a while and the warm will help. Then would like one last winter storm before spring stays,

I’ll still follow it here but I have no expectations. A late surprise would be nice but unlikely.

Well that was a major letdown. Now it looks like nothing. Will we even get any more chances before spring? If not very fitting the way storms have been all winter.

Family in Monmouth get 7.8" on the euro. Road trip
Was the EPS worse than the OP? People in the NYC forum didn’t like it.

I mean the euro had my area at 3.5" and Philly at 6" not in the grand scheme of things far from a decent event with only a small tick
EE rule
At this point I’d be happy with that.

100 mile adjustment in next 3 days would be a foot for many here. Definitely not over.
Especially when they can go 300 miles in 24 hours

I have a weird feeling that the models will bring the storm back. Not sure to what extent. We aren't getting out of MJO 8 without a snowstorm.
I do, too. Could be wrong but the correction was just so much that it seems too much.

Said I’d give it to 12z tomorrow, but no point dragging this out.
So much for another “epic pattern”. Bring on spring!
I’m waiting until this storm moves out. Got too invested to give up yet.

Waiting until the current storm goes by to get heartbroken again. Can’t believe the GFS isn’t even major in DC though. Frustrating.

Greedy bastard....I'll take a nice 4-6" with the cold and some wind and be happy as hell. This pennie, nickel and dime crap has gotten old real quick...

I just didn’t want to think that low yet but yes even that would be my biggest. Have not had more than 3-4 inches in a storm.
-
It’s just a feeling but I don’t think this misses. Maybe 6-12 inches instead but I will take that.

That’s why I am not getting too into it just yet. Lots could happen. But boy these solutions are wild!

I’m getting excited now. Just hope it’s not another letdown.

I had a strike shake the house when the main storms weren’t even here. Then very heavy rain and some garden variety thunder/lightning later.
