    I know, it was coming down pretty good 20 minutes ago. That fireball in the sky is desperately trying to peek through! Man its cold out there goodness!!! What did you guys get up that way, any guesses?

    Hard to say what we got here now, maybe I will declare it over again(being sarcastic lol) and we will all get another few inches! Seriously though, woke up and still lightly snowing. If I were to guess 5-6". This warning ends at noon then another watch is up for tuesday night onward for 4-10". Nice, bring it

    Well looks like it is over now minus the snow flurries. That last piece of energy? dropped a few more inches, got about 4-4.5" out there. Meh not bad, could have been better but its still a beautiful cold fluffy snow. Winds really aren't that bad either yet. Heres to hoping for tuesday nights storm!!! At least the silly snow drought is over after 7 years lol

    Oh man nice with the radar fill image there! I havent looked at it in a while beings I was out hiking in this crazy cold lol. Let it begin? Maybe we will get 6" afterall lol....good luck to us in Arkansas here

    Awesome Amber! My dog is nearly 2 now and she does not know what to make of this stuff Lol!! I think shes more interested in eating the snow rather than playing in it lol. Just got back from a hike in the woods, closing in on 2-3" now here. Its still just a very fine powdery light snow nothing crazy, Im over it and just enjoying what we have now. Is beautiful but my hands are froze, crazy cold out there.

    Other than missing my Mom and a few close friends, dont really miss that place much. Yea where I grew up but not much about it I miss lol. Nice, we use to go to High Point state park a lot in my youth and hike the AT trail up that way.

    Missouri, over in Humansville there(what a name lol). I did grow up in Jersey, extreme south jersey close to the coast.

    Man I dont know about you but I miss my old stomping grounds! It was just small town country living at its best!! Will probly move back that way sometime in the future, man I remember the big storm that hit hard and fast before we left(cannot remember what year it was now). We got like 22" of snow from that beast, was one epic snow!

    Very true it has, just the nature of the beast. All depends on where one is at, a lot in Oklahoma seemed to have done pretty good so far. We shall see later on

    Pathetic overhyped mess of a storm so far. I wonder what model handled this the best lol, probly none of them. I cant compare to everywhere though just what we are noticing here in the snowless hole of NW Ar haha

    Yea we will see if this one will bust for here for warning criteria, these storms are crazy odd for sure man! Yesterday, based on what everyone here was posting, I told my buddy we are probly gonna be lucky to see 2-3" at best from this now. Im sticking with my gut again, got about the same here too around 1.5" or so...hard to tell with it whipping about everywhere. Maybe there's hope for us on the next one haha

    Man this went from all out weenie mode to meh ok whatever mode of desperation for some of us again lol, hope ya'll in Oklahoma stay safe..I would not want water and power outage problems with this sort of cold!

    No words for this really, trying to be optimistic but this area here just struggles for anything.... hopefully some miracle happens tonight with the better stuff idk.

    Same, the past 3 days of misty freezing drizzle and off/on snows we already had things covered here. Hard to say what this first wave put down here as its windy, maybe 3/4 of an inch or so. Man it is cold though thats for sure

    Yep just off and on light snow here, we are in the screw you zone again. Far NW Ar has the better chance once again then points south of a here a bit and west. This place is so so so weird with snow lol. They are expecting this to end before tonights round, maybe we will get lucky with that and get some bands that give us something. Heck the sun looks to be desperately trying to come out lol

    Its insane man, today out and about literally 2 blocks from home it was snowing, nothing at the house here!! Just like right now one of these clouds is giving you something and me nothing, who knows how close we are but thats what I observed today. Is actually crazy cool

    See thats what I was referring to right there LOL, Tulsa was saying to really watch storm 2. Maybe it will surprise a lot of us who knows!! Boy talk about weenie map in all its glory, I better not get too excited lol

    I hope so man, fingers crossed!! And ya know it always seems the cutoff line for me here is 412 north lol! I cant count how many times its doing nothing here then poof get on the other side of 412 and its doing something...crazyness man haha

    Call me silly but I dont have a good feeling regarding this first storm for NW Arkansas here at all by what Im seeing and reading idk. We are so border between 1-3" and 6-8". They are being conservative and smart regarding storm 2 and mentioning it could be even more significant depending on its track, who the heck knows lol. Still flurrying here off and on everytime a cloud rolls by.

    Man its always boggled my pea brain what causes it here lol? Im not sure if someone explained it already(sorry if so). Elevation and terrain?? I mean its not a terrible track but looking at maps theres a literal hole of less accumulations for NW Ar here...so mind boggling

    Heck the past few days we have a coating of ice on the trees and all these snow frizzle showers probly half to 3/4 of an inch of snow on the ground now. Its actually pretty, just light and no brutal winds...just a neat surprise snow. Its just the relaxing kind of snows, enjoyable even though it isnt much at all.
