    30 here, just cloudy and sort of misty for now. Our friends in KC sent some pics, looks like they have about 5" of snow on the ground so far there.

    I wasn't here until 2013 but my buddy actually told me about that 2011 storm and said ya'll got a ton of snow? from that one! Feb 1st 2011 we lived in Missouri(central) and it was the most intense heavy snow I ever witnessed in my life probly, we got nearly 25" of snow from that storm in maybe 8-10 hours!! Of course it had melted off in a few days and was a complete mud/flood mess lol.

    Man what a massive storm this will be it seems! Someone was mentioning up to 3 feet of snow possible in ohio which is insane! Usually don't see this sort of thing unless its a bomb noreaster going up the coastline. Its a shame ( I guess still possible?) we can't get this thing to come further south to give us better snow, everything has to be so so picky perfect here it seems for that to happen lol.

    Not going to Lie, I'm worried about freezing rain. Every time I hear or see that word I get nervous, been through some really bad bad ice storms since moving out here! Hopefully things trend more SE and push us all into the snow/sleet zone more. Someones going to get nailed by this I feel!!

    Pouring the snow back in my hometown of south jersey! Watching some live webcams along the ocean, full on jealous mode haha. Looks like my Moms place will get around a foot or so. Man if we got a storm that big here this place would shut down lol. Hopefully next week brings something who knows

    Had some pretty nasty sleet and freezing drizzle here then it changed over to massive sized snow flakes for a bit, was just a quick burst but got the half inch as expected. Roads are pretty bad here in the neighborhoods! Cold night ahead, stay warm everyone

    Went out for a hike at night, just stopped flurrying here. In the woods where the fireball doesn't hit much probly 5" of snow! Here in the yards up in treeless areas, 3" after the temps warmed up in the afternoon and compacted it all down.

    About the same here, misty light snow. My temps been doing the same, 31 up from 25 earlier.

    Probly about 3" or so here, I'm sure wherever these off and on bands setup is who gets what ya know. Its off and on bursts of moderate snow here. Temp actually went up a few degrees too but still below freezing, I love how this is sticking to the trees!! Looks awesome out there for once.

    Starting to lightly snow here again also, still holding at 25 degrees according to my weather stations. I see stuff filling in but keep hearing the dreaded dry slot being mentioned everywhere.

    Someone else was just mentioning that online too! This has been a nightmare of a storm to track and figure out, man Id love to see more though as this round was a bit overperforming.

    Got up at 4am real quick and it was already 33 and had changed over, no clue whats on the ground now maybe 1.5" . Unexpected surprise from round 1, curious to see what we get with the stuff later this afternoon?! Already down to 26 degrees here too, flurrying right now

    Goodness are we ever going to get any decent measurable snow geez, its bad enough with these weird temps!! I've grown accustomed to this disappointment as well now though so meh whatever. Hopefully February brings us some better cold and excitement who knows

    Got a nice surprise of snow flurries all night, must have came down a bit heavier after going to bed after midnight as we got close to an inch here also it appears. Awesome to see for once!!!

    Looks like we got about 2.5" in Fayetteville here, guessing but it was not a whole lot this time. Everything got recoated though, beautiful out there. Be safe everyone, not sure about where you all live but the back side streets here are terrible

    Man same, was in the woods and It didnt even seem like it was snowing at all until I came out into the city lights! About an 1.5" here so far of new snow, 14F now. Really thick pasty snow, hard to describe.

    1 of my stations says -8 the other says -6. Seems like we might get dry slotted with this next storm and its a wee bit further south again, I think they are still calling for 4-6"...and then the 60's next week...someone was mentioning severe weather chances!!! Totally wonky donkey weather

    I think thats about right for me too! Late 80's early 90's growing up in NJ, I remember it being negative 20 or so back then for lows at night. Was crazy, its been like a ghost town around fayetteville today lol!

    Man its gonna be a cold cold night, Temp is just rapidly falling off. Both my weather stations already say -2 on them!!! I havent seen cold like this in a very very long time, crazy to think we may be in the upper 40's/50's by weeks end lol
