  1. Ended up with 0.9” sleet and 0.6” snow for 1.5” total event. Temp is up to 30. @Blizzard of 93 so the sleet wasn’t added to MDT snow total? I can check in the morning if you’d like. I know I tried once before and didn’t get anywhere.
  2. Judging the radar you should have 1-2” of pure sleet
  3. Sleet is better than freezing rain. I’ll take it Counts as snow on the board lol 24.6 currently
  4. The sleet is legit. Things are slicked up here as well.
  5. 0.3” from round 2 for 0.6” snow total. Pouring sleet now. down to 24
  6. Heavy coating here. 21/16 edit: Band dropped 0.3” and temp went from 22 to 19. Light snow continues.
  7. Most aggressive for sure even down my way. I believe they use an in house model which blends models to give their forecast. It def looks nice for our area
  8. I’ll take what the TWC is showing. 3-5” for most of the state with mostly snow then a dry slot
  9. Yes indeed, CAD always wins. Lows tonight in the 15-20 range should lock things in
  10. @Flatheadsickness I love your passion for the weather and accuracy of measuring snow. My suggestion would be to become a spotter for NWS to make your obs known. Snow amounts can vary at short distances. MDT at the airport itself sits at 312’ right along the river. Any gain in elevation is going to increase snow amounts. It’s not my fight to fight, but this forum is getting clogged up with your posts and becoming distracting from what this forum stands for. Best of luck
  11. Thanks for tracking for us. 2” would be an acceptable event for me. Like the idea of having 5-7 days of snow cover to make it feel like winter.
  12. Rough season for you I knew I’d shake the bees nest with my Ravens lol. There’s so many Steelers, eagles, Redskins fans in the area.
  13. Having a snowstorm and watching the Ravens win on the same day would be a true dream
  14. I can confirm the thunder. Never saw the flash up my way but what a wild squall.
  15. The CCB got cranking a little too late for me but I’m glad to see our friends to the East get the deeds.
  16. I’m at 1.1” from the squalls so far. I was under a yellow and briefly orange band on radar for about 10 min. Schools went ahead and closed for the day. Today is why I love the weather so much.
