  1. Lol. I’m heading your way in between the bands for a Lowe’s / Walmart run. Wife wants to get out of house. Fun times
  2. Has anyone bought the RadarScope for Microsoft? I recently upgraded to a 27” monitor and bought Radar and I’m impressed. I feel like a NWS met lol. Here’s a pic
  3. 1.30”+ so far rates holding at .30 to .40” / hr
  4. Thanks for the update. Bands are banked right up against the ridge which is expected with that se fetch.
  5. The band I’m in is around .30”/hr rates. I’m over .75” now.
  6. The band down from Roanoke to west of Altoona is the one I’m watching for the heaviest round later for us. Guess we’ll see
  7. Looping the IR satellite, you can see the cloud tops cooling and back building to the west with a fire hose of moisture heading right for us. I wouldn’t write this event off yet. Maybe someone can post it cough cough @MAG5035 or someone more techy than me
  8. If you loop it, looks like low clouds moving East to West so I may be on borrowed time on my side
  9. Agreed. Nice day shaping up. Might even sneak another yard mowing in before all the rain hits
  10. Well someone has to start happy hour off. I picked up this fine IPA at The Fourscore in Gettysburg. Joe Exotic was unavailable so they used me as his double. Cheers! What is everyone else having on this dark and gloomy Friday?
  11. Rates were low. Heaviest band slid right down through Thurmont and south. I had a couple flakes mix in
  12. I can see the snow line on the ridge. Also dropped to 29 this morn
  13. Gust to 46 with small branches down. Nothing special. Radar had more bark than bite
  14. 1.35” of rain over this way. Only had a gust to 26 mph so far Current dew of 58 Charleston WV radar already showing a large area of rain with embedded line segments. Looks active for this early in the day. Hrrr also looks impressive later
  15. Nice day out. Getting a lot done at the course today
  16. Impressive line of storms. Looks like a little rotation on cell entering Somerset County. I believe that was the same storm that had a tornado warning with it earlier
  17. Well I’d hope she’d have her facts straight but things are always changing and there’s so many moving parts, it makes it hard. Here’s a tid bit from Business Insider Article I was reading earlier : “Not all the coronavirus deaths that the models predict, however, would necessarily stem from the current outbreak. The researchers said a second wave of infections would likely occur in the fall, sometime between August and December. The chance of this happening is about 73%, they said.“ This is concerning to me. Imagine another spike right around the holidays
