  1. High of 76 at house. I spent the day in Middle River Bmore County and was a stellar day. Orange Crushes are tasting good. Open bar !!
  2. Lowest lows were in the 35-37 range so I’m betting there were isolated pockets. Phillipsburg had 35 and Coudersport had 37. Bradford hit 40
  3. Checking some data, Kane had a monthly low of 36. Second lowest I could find in coop data
  4. here are the extremes for the month from state climate office Highest Temperature Lancaster 2 NE Filt Plant 92°F September 16th Lancaster Lowest Temperature Lewistown 32°F September 26th Mifflin Greatest Cumulative Liquid Precipitation Lewistown 12.79” September 1st- 30th Mifflin Least Cumulative Liquid Precipitation Washington County AP 2.53” September 1st- 30th Washington
  5. Didn’t see any. Along the creek bottom at course is usually a few degrees cooler than the house and nothing set in. I was looking.
  6. I’m expecting frost in Fairfield. I’ll send pics
  7. Just making sure we weren’t looking at some record high temps. I just ordered a boss v plow. You can see where my mind is.
  8. 78 for me. Got busy today, didn’t have time to chime on the sports talk. A buzzer wouldn’t be a bad idea to help refs. It could be wired into their hearing piece.
  9. Every week the refs miss a PI, holding call, roughing the passer it seems. It’s part of the game. Some calls go for you, others against. What’s the solution? Allow challenges for every possible penalty and delay the games over petty fouls.
  10. Pretty common for refs to “allow” 1-2 seconds after the clock hits 0. By the time they see it and then look back up and then reach into pocket to get flag etc, it takes that much time. Count 2 seconds in your head. 1, 2. It’s quick
  11. Nice write up from CTP this morning CLIMATE... Harrisburg`s latest 90-degree day on record is Oct. 7 in the 1941. With summer in the rearview mirror and given the fall pattern going forward, it`s probably safe to say that there won`t be any more 90 degree days this year. So in 2021, Harrisburg likely finishes with 34 days where the maximum temperature was >= 90F. That ties 2010 and 1955 with the 14th highest on record. The top 3 are 1966 (60), 1944 (48), and 1943 (46) More interestingly, 2021 currently ranks 2nd for the number of days with minimum temperatures >= 70F in Harrisburg. The top 3 are 2020 (50), 2021 (48), and 2016 (42). 8 of the top 10 years are in the 2000s. Those warm summer nights... &&
  12. Oct 2nd 2019 I had a high of 93. Highest temp I’ve ever recorded that late
  13. Visible sat shows that nicely. Give or take, 3” for both ob sites in Adams.
  14. Well I’ve had that but I’m a hands on guy too. I’ve had 2 assts at each course but when I see something that needs done, it’s hard not hoping on a mower, tractor etc. one day I’ll learn
  15. Thanks for asking. It’s been hard recovering during my busy season. Owner in a contract to buy a third course so it’s only going to be busier next year. Need the winter to slow down, heal up, and track snow
  16. That’s good. Already pushing 1” here. 3 big outings at courses this weekend
  17. Wgal future radar run, shows front on your back door around 6:30a and moving steady
  18. Now 54/52. Upper 40’s seem likely at this point.
  19. Refs were throwing flags on both sides. Really made the game unwatchable. The kick at the end did give me 6 fantasy points. Down to 56 already.
