    26, heavy snow and winds are picking up. I was just standing out in it, taking it all in. Amazing.

    Flake size is really small like President's Day 2015- my deck has the same egg crate appearance it did then (I.e. flakes are so tiny they fall in between the boards). Normally my deck looks like a solid sheet of snow.

    Been steady moderate snow for the last two hours, just eyeballing i'd say about an inch, but I'm not doing a first official measurement until tonight/tomorrow.

    Hope the Euro is right for you guys over there! There aren't too many storms that start as snow and immediately start sticking. Even snowmageddon didn't do that.

    Welcome back! My son wants to go out in it too and build a snowman- he thinks this was the snow I keep telling him about. Had to explain that the real snow is coming soon! My goal is to get at least 8", then I'll be happy - that would be the biggest storm for me since I moved down here. I've had a bunch of 5-7" storms already.

    It started snowing hard on my drive home once I reached Sunderland. Calvert didn't treat anything so 2-4 was covered.
