  1. Looking more like the 6z Euro to this point on the run.
  2. 12z GFS and the 12z Nam are pretty close in relationship. Although, the GFS gives portions of Northern Oklahoma more snow than the Nam.
  3. 12z pushed back to the West and North into NW Oklahoma and Kansas compared to the 00z
  4. Latest Nam run has ice storm in Eastern Oklahoma around 6am
  5. 00z GFS shows everything falling apart Sunday night Monday morning.
  6. 18z GFS has the low traveling right along the Red River Sunday afternoon and early Monday Morning. It has backed way off for the snow for the State of Ks.
  7. There is a slim chance of hope with the 12z Euro. It shows most of the activity North but at 6z it has a grouping in North Central Oklahoma.
  8. MIke Morgan on KFOR in Okc is going with the Euro. He is saying one to three in the Okc metro area. He also said that he thinks the first one to two inches will melt off due to the warm ground temps.
  9. 12z Canadian takes the band of snow North of I40 into Northern Oklahoma, as far South as Stillwater, and on up into Ks,
  10. Oklahoma Mesonet explanation of events and why it is so hard to call for something so many days out. http://ticker.mesonet.org/?fbclid=IwAR3YrcuPFSk1IeD59wKHFEpCT1L_XwzKGXaedoJf7A7I7GR4qt3NLybGLio
  11. 6z GFS has the low in perfect position to give Oklahoma a lot of wintery type precipitation Sunday Night early Monday, 12/15- 12/ 16, but it shows no activity with it till it kicks out into NE Oklahoma. That Friday storm is still showing up but all rain now and a lot of it.
  12. This was posted on KFOR in Okc FB page on 12/10 around 7:45
  13. Holy moly is this happens. This is the last day before Christmas break for many public schools in Oklahoma.
  14. Okc TV weather guys already jumping on this. Morgan was teasing people at the 6:30 news and Aaron Tuttle was hitting at the 9th.
  15. Norman office put this out on their FB page. 2:15 PM - our weather balloon data shows the cap (a layer of warm air aloft that can delay/prevent storms) is still in place over central OK, but it appears the cap is likely weaker over western OK. This is where we expect storms to possibly develop after 4pm. Again, most people will not see a storm, but if a storm forms it will likely be severe. A tornado watch will be issued for parts of our area by 3:30 PM. Stay alert!
  16. Do not know if this is the right place but two barges broke loose in Muskogee and going down the Arkansas and can not be gotten. Heading to Webbers Falls and the town is already under a mandatory evac do to flooding. Emergency management said if barges hit the dam then Webbers Falls could be lost.
  17. https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/md0737.html Hook developing near Pauls Valley
