  1. I still have been unable to get tested. Despite that I’m a frontline healthcare worker and nearly half of my coworkers are out on quarantine. So if someone says that tests are available- send them to me! Syrmax, I love your info and you seem like a smart guy but the contrarian attitude is a drag. You can say that there are not enough tests AND scrutinize the test’s reliability. These two things aren’t mutually exclusive. I agree that the Trump complaints seem reflexive at times; but this guys like a cancer, If he states A, pretty good chance B is the better alternative.
  2. The numbers are remarkably stable. 30,000 new cases per day. And the European cases are stubborn too. And they all seem to come from the regions wherein the virus obtained its original foothold: NYC, Spain, Italy. it’s like once the cat is outta the bag it’s hard to contain. IDK. I’m not seeing any signs of hope. Looks like it’s gonna be a slow burn. We’ll eventually get to the most dire predictions in my honest opinion.
  3. Also why that regions numbers remain so low. You’re lucky to live in a rural area for this.?
  4. The Mueller report didn’t rise to the level of impeachment. Of course your boy literally asked (the next day) for foreign help in his election and that’s ultimately what got him impeached. But to say there was nothing in the Mueller report IS delusional. It found obstruction. Trump was protected from his worst impulses by those who didn’t follow his orders. I’ll never wrap my head around supporting this guy. He lacks any redeeming moral qualities. He’s petty, vindictive, and mean.
  5. It’s unfortunate that we have to revisit the notion that mortgage borrowers were to blame for the financial crisis. It’s was the derivatives betting market that blew it all to hell. You guys always latch onto some convenient narrative that blames the poor. The amount that Freddy and Fanny contributed to the crisis was paltry. Were they lending to less than qualified people? Sure. You bet. But it was the 70x margin trading that was to blame. If the nut of the lend had failed, or even 10x of the nut, we would’ve been ok. It was the fact that the derivatives house of cards gave way that caused insolvency.
  6. You are delusional. Did you even bother with the Mueller report? And yet your take is that Clinton is guilty? Lol
  7. Do you not believe that Russia aids Trump? Maybe Trump didn’t full-on collude, but obviously the Russians have provided material support and they’ll do the same against Biden. As for Biden, he has about as good a record as any career politician I’ve seen. The guy has said a few things I wish he didn’t. But his heart and policies have always been for the betterment of the working class. He’s been on the right side of history with most social issues (in my book). We live in a bicameral government system. I honestly believe it’s a cop out not to choose. It’s like: a megalomaniac or a reasonable centrist. Come on. Lol
  8. I think Trump has a good chance at re-election. By no means is it a shoe in. I’m just concerned about the lies they hit Biden with. They’ll try and paint him as everything Trump actually is- mentally ill and a sexual predator. Its right out of the Trump play book. Accuse your opponent with everything you’re actually guilty of. “No I’m not, you are!” And when you have an entire army (and Russian trolls), devoid of moral constraints, you can cause a lot of harm. Get ready. It’s coming.
  9. Did you lose your doctor? I didn’t. I don’t know a single person who did. Obamacare has proven pretty successful and very popular. It slowed the increase in medical costs, it decreased the number of uninsured and it added sorely needed protections. Your guy has tried for years to dismantle it without any framework for a replacement (hint: there isn’t one). Thankfully he’s been unsuccessful.
  10. I’m very liberal and even I think that extra $ is a mistake. I mean, someday we HAVE to pay this back, right? I’m definitely not opposed to giving someone a decent unemployment check, but when it rivals what you’d actually make- you lose all incentive to return. Hope this is over soon. I think April will just about wrap it up. The normalization process will take must of May, but then we’ll be looking good for summer.
  11. Yep. It’s getting bad. IDK. Something really changed at the hospital today. It’s as if, all of a sudden, all of the patients started testing positive. You can just feel it. It’s as if someone flipped a switch. Next week or so is gonna be a ride. Hoping I can avoid it. Fortunately, we are getting re-stocked with PPE.
  12. I don’t know why the nazis are freaking out about people going to the park, the beach or just walking around. I’m not gonna just stay inside. As long as you don’t congregate. Ya know?!? I swear, the need to control others is rearing it’s ugly head.
  13. Infection control at the hospital I work at are expecting a rapid ramp up of number of infected by early this week, with a peak arriving in 35-40 days. The numbers are increasing rapidly now. Unfortunately, deaths will likely follow. Theres no way of knowing but I’m hopeful we got ahead of this a little bit once Trump started taking it seriously. I doubt you’ll hear much more about “full churches on Easter”. Which was always just a dog whistle to his evangelical nut jobs.
  14. And when the democrats try and reign in the corporations, in favor of the worker, you fail to recognize it. I’m sorry Tim but you honestly represent the base Trump voter: uneducated, angry, reactionary and easily deceived into voting opposite your self interest. Our government isn’t fascist. Throwing about reckless proclamations, such as that, is counter productive to having anyone take you seriously. Really.
  15. i like yur posts. hate your random pointer. nice pics.
