    Im really struggling with expectations out here. This will be my first winter event in the area after so many years in central/eastern Loudoun. I think we hold onto temps better so more snow than sleet probably. I really had a good feel for winter and rain events in leesburg and aldie but zero clue out here in Stephenson.     My wife works for the Maryland government emergency management...she said they had a call with NWS today Sterling, Mt Holly and Wakefield. I asked her if she asked if anyone on the call ever heard of Leesburg 04...she just looked at me and said STFU

    I can't wait until we get a Publix out here, supposed to be late 26. I don't mind Martins but it's not my favorite. We definitely need more shopping options out this way

    I told my daughter this morning who lives in Leesburg that i think 8-12" plus some sleet and cold temps are most likely. Feeling pretty good about that call right now. For my backyard i am thinking 6-10" no sleet to speak of but a really quick dryslot cutting off the moisture faster than others to my east

    It's funny watching the language morph over the last few days from suppressed to overrunning with potential redevelopment to over amped to the introduction of the word dry slot which wasn't being said previously. What's the next new word or phrase on this thing going to be?
