    I've seen an uptick this year vs last but not what I'd call an infestation yet. Oddly enough had someone knock on my door the other day from an exterminator company asking if we've noticed ant and spider activity so apparently it is a thing. I'd never want to get rid of spiders though because they take care of a big chunk of other insects.

    Just a steady rain ranging from misty to light to occasionally moderate since about 7am. Definitely the best way for it to soak into the ground and feed the trees. Who knows how much when it is all said and done but it's more than it has been so I am thrilled so far

    Which color are you considering heavy? The light purple is more like Rt 7 and the toll road, but yeah you maryland clods look to get shafted a bit if this graphic comes close to verifying.

    Had two rounds of heavy rain overnight one around 10pm and another around midnight. Didn't last too long but were good dumpings. I'm hopeful this week pans out my young red maple is stressing hard.
