Sandy Hook NJ to Fire Island Inlet NY out 20 NM... New York Harbor... At 749 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and lightning. This thunderstorm was located near Entrance to New York Harbor, moving north at 15 knots. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Richmond (Staten Island) County in southeastern New York... * Until 900 PM EDT. * At 736 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Newark, Jersey City, Jamaica, Elizabeth, Flatbush, Flushing, Bayonne, Mott Haven, Levittown, Hoboken, Plainfield, Bloomfield, Freeport, Linden, Valley Stream, Long Beach, Orange, Coney Island, Garden City and Massapequa.     Let’s see if it can continue going forward on the models. Can still be a high impact event nyc east inches of rain and wind gust 40-50 would do damage

    Euro is a worse for many compared to others bigger windfield and it’s catching onto the big rain totals.
