  1. Staten Island cleaned up 12.5 inches back home, and 12.5 inches by my parents in Nassau county. South shores did very well. Wonder if that ocean enhancement was the reason
  2. Ripping sleet here and accumulating fast. Just shoveled and it’s back again
  3. NAM has a warm tongue at 6z next Sunday, storm not looking good probably a lot of sleet
  4. Moderate sleet with some flakes mixed in…. Mix line wants to go south someone push it lol

  8. Don’t look now but sleet line retreating a bit. Every bit counts

  10. Hitting the wall where it did now with that heavy batch of precip about to move into the island can be huge
  11. Mix line hitting a wall just around Middletown now
  12. But the nam nailed a warm wedge back in 1981 so it had to be right
  13. Looks like sleet line slowing down last few frames south of Middletown
  14. Yea that’s what I wanna know, I see some reports are it’s mostly snow in places with couple of pellets mixed in so I assume you’ll still accumulate well
  15. Hrrr shows another 7-11 inches central nj into sne before the mix line crosses over Long Island
  16. RAP which brings the sleet line into nyc Long Island quicker is still another 5-7 inches 16z hrr rolling and it’s still showing snow along the south shore at 23z
  17. Staten Island around 8 inches…. Should be double digits easy for nyc metro
  18. Looks like south shore of Long Island is getting into some of that ocean enhanced snow as well
  19. New hrr initialized pretty close to radar and has the mix line basically not cross lint island til after 00z bringing another 8-10 inches from central New Jersey through nyc Long Island
  20. There is a precip hole over south Jersey so the lighter rates probably allowed it to move in if I had to guess but I’m no pro
