There was a winter back in the 70’s where the borough just put up barricades on 1 street 2 blocks over. Best sledding ever! We also had the flexible flyers. Good times!

Took the country road home. Lots of puddles and creek beds were high. Got home and only one shovel pile next to the walk left. Deck all melted.

Wow -that WX run is crazy. It's what I would expect, but seems this one is trending south/east not north/west. Artic high in a different spot and hanging on? Guess we'll know this time tomorrow

If that Euro verifies as is (gulp) this could be my highest accumulation this season.

36 and, you guessed it- light drizzle. It maybe an all rain event for me.
Still holding out hope for Thursday but you know it’s going to change/ move. 50/50 shot. A B- grade from me if winter ended today. Not bad. Thanks for all your insights and making me follow this forum like it’s a sporting event! Win some, lose some.- 1

27 calling it light freezing drizzle with the occasional ping. Treated surfaces doing ok. Car windows glazed and parts of my sidewalk (where the gutter drips) are slippery.
Be careful.

Guess I should get some gas and fill up the propane bottle tank just in case?

I was in my early 20's for that one. Was out in it of course! It was daytime start that went into the evening. One and only time in my life I saw and heard thundersnow.

There’s a dusk to Dawn flood on the back corner of the house -2 windows in the bedroom so the flakes shine. Even though not a huge nighttime snow person, it’s pretty cool to just lay here and watch. Nothing here yet.

'94 definitely once in a lifetime. Hope I don't see another. I worked for an Oil Co back then. It was complete insanity. Customer's pipes froze from the outages, the owner was buying every 4 wheel pick up he could find and putting tanks in the back and spikes on the guy's feet to get the fuel delivered. Roads and driveways were too much for the big trucks. Salesman became service techs, and we became a 24/7 operation and it took us weeks to get everyone back in heat. Our phones were so busy, people were calling the police and they would come to the office and give us their service request. Never again. Some homes that endured no heat for weeks, finally getting the pipes thawed, only to then be taken out again from the flooding Brandywine due to the ice jams.

If that verifies it will give me more than the 6" we got here during a 4 day storm! LOL Can't make this stuff up. Everyone needs a pasting, lots and lots of melting today.

It was nice to see some flakes this morning at 36d. There is much grass showing around here though. Hope Sunday works out.

Spoke to a client in Iowa today. They're under blizzard warning for tomorrow. The whole state is blue or red as well as WI and part of NE. Anyway, I asked for an extension on the work I need to do there.

Thanks Agnes for the radars you always post! I'm at 34d here back to a light snow. We'll have this all afternoon? That low is crawling.

Ralph this isn’t the midpoint. This is pity flakes for us to the south. This storm is over. Already drying up out there on radar.
Right, there will be a HUGE difference once the final totals are in. At least we managed another inch this morning. Back to flurries and getting brighter out there.
