  1. This was the storm that made me go out and buy a snow blower. I still have it today.
  2. Not a doubt. The awful winter keeps on rolling into January.
  3. The last frame of the 06z GFS. Look at that 540 line. This is plain stupid.
  4. This morning Randy Ollis mentioned Indy has yet to record a 1" snowfall this season and we are quite late for that to happen. It looks to be another week away at least. Sigh.
  5. We cannot catch a storm. I am so tired of the misses.
  6. I stayed away from the forum to keep my frustration down. After two dud winters in a row, I am due for a storm or two.
  7. I am headed to Waco this weekend and began watching the NWS forecast since it became available. It seems every day is a completely new and random forecast. One day it is cool and 68 for the high to having 25 mph winds or possible a baking hot day in the middle 80's with today's forecast being a 60% chance of thundershowers. Is the wx in Waco that unpredictable? I really have no way to plan for Saturday with these wildly changing forecasts.
  8. I while back I asked about the weather and tulips for Holland, MI. This weekend I made it there along with a few other places in Grand Rapids and Grand Haven. A pretty decent weather weekend overall. The tulips were hit or miss. Many had not bloomed and a few came early and were damaged by weather. I did get a few photos anyway. If you're in Grand Haven, visit Sweet Temptations and have some dark decadence chocolate ice cream. Nothing better.
  9. Question about Holland Tulip Festival... Vacation has been planned to come for the Tulip Festival. With what seems like a slow start to spring, anything I should be aware of? We are going for an early morning photo tour before it opens so we have concerns about the development of the tulips.
  10. Glad to hear you are safe and thank you for sharing your experiences.
  11. Back tracked it to the source. Brian Tang who also did this nice time lapse video of the radar. https://www.facebook.com/#!/video/video.php?v=647169125728&comments
  12. Radar montage of the destructive supercell which hit Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, & more... Source: Brian Tang
