  1. Yeah I don’t remove all of them , let some go . But most agree if you don’t manage them it will rob nutrients. This article talks about what type of tomatoes your growing, I grow indeterminate and stake them . https://www.thespruce.com/should-you-prune-out-tomato-suckers-1403290
  2. Watching now on DVR, haven’t finished watching 2nd round, but my guess is someone comes out of the field to win, not many big names on the 1st page though
  3. Looking at pics of folks tomato plants , I notice it doesn’t look like people remove the suckers-so plant doesn’t waste energy producing foliage vice fruit. My dad and grandad taught me to remove the suckers , anyone else do that so you have 2-3 main stems?
  4. Depends on your price tolerance, there are 3 classes in my mind . $40-60 week day with cart, 60-100 and 100+ like raceway , CT national in 1st category, lots of others , one course that’s 100+ now, I used the play it for the less than 50 walking before new ownership , is NEWPORT national in Middletown RI will cost you buck 25 now give or take, but it’s a great layout and gets very little play , so in great condition.
  5. Tempo is key , slow on the takeaway, then use your lower body to generate power/ speed
  6. I have seen his vids, he Is good, I bookmarked one on takeaway and staying on plane by position of your left elbow, which I struggle with
  7. Save the receipts, had a flowering cherry bought for my mom at mother’s day that didn’t make it, of course it’s a year later before you know for sure. Difficult to bring a dead tree back.
  8. Love pine hills, both courses
  9. Used to hate Bryson, but put him on my season long fantasy team, love him now. What are SARMS?
  10. Montaup CC in Portsmouth RI Tuesday and Thursday, league play. 39 / 42 from the tips Tuesday, played a money match against a 2 index Thursday, was pressing and shot 47 / 48 . Meadow brook CC Richmond RI today 40/44
  11. New bats, for 2 years my wife has been asking what I want for bday Xmas, I told her don’t get me anything I am going to buy new clubs, finally pulled the trigger. got fitted by titleist fitter at local club. Well worth it.
  12. If it’s well established should come back no problem
  13. Should be fine if you just keep it hydrated, drop some fert in early September
  14. You’re hitting from the wrong side . Pretty special to be able to spot the ball after that take away.
  15. I am happy with 250 carry , 300 yard drives are pretty rare even for some pros
  16. Thursday’s don’t work for me, league day. Next week won’t work, but with a little more lead time I have some friends here who would be up to play fox hop yard during the week.
  17. Played Ct national a number of times, nice track, heard good things about raceway, but Think ct national is a better layout. Fox hop yard in east haddam is nice as well but a little further out for SEMA guys. i’d do CT national if timing worked
  18. Depends on what you use. I haven’t used the fert in a while so not sure what the process is, but in past you had to apply when wet and ensure it didn’t rain with8n a certain time period. There was also the risk of over application and burning the lawn. So yes as effective, but lots of moving parts . Spray is kind of dummy proof.
  19. Nice , I prefer to use a spray on broadleaf weed killer only, rather then combining with fertilizer. In reference to an earlier question you had about treating broad leaf weeds. This way you don’t have to worry about timing.
  20. Played with some buddies from mass at Swansea CC yesterday. Was pretty dried out which , which is unusual there this time of year. Looks like mass guys will be able to play in RI June 1. Can get our league started, as a bunch of mass guys are members at the club we play at, sucks for them not being able to play and paying for a membership.
  21. Seminole is like Bigfoot, probably should have kept it a secret, but was glad to be able to see it. Loved watching the boys tote their own bag.
  22. Great news, good luck with your game
