Not to get confused with other tornado which completely snapped trees at base and caused insane damage to vegetation. That one I firmly believe is mid to high level ef4.

Yup was 60.

This just goes to show how rare and powerful an EF 5 tornado is. We have been since Moore 2013 without one.

The vegetation damage pics I’ve seen have been insane....just chewed through those forests.

Seems like a lot of 170 type Ef 4s I believe same as Tenn tornado earlier this year and the Beauregard tornado of 2019.

Will the junky convection over parts of AL and MS do anything to hinder instability it that region..seems pretty widespread. Edit: Actually SVR storm near Jackson, MS.

That was one of the best displays of meteorology and severe weather live broadcasting I’ve ever witnessed. He saved many, many lives that day.
