Yup, especially with late jaunt west. I’d expect storm surge closer to Laura levels that Katrina or Michael.

Not even close…agreed. New Orleans will have some flooding, and damage from likely cat 1 type winds but not much more.

Eye wall definitive warming, may be encountering some challenges as it continues moving north.

I mean it’s going to be a dangerous storm, I just don’t understand the mania and everyone losing their heads over it. It looks far enough west to spare New Orleans the worst.
