A smidge cooler at 84 but DP still in excess of 70. Hoping to get a decent shower next few days.
#Marked safe from frostbite today. -
We are all waiting for the storms out here in GaCo to cool us off.-

Just hit 90 (yesterday's hi was 88.3) and with a DP of 72, it's a sauna even out here. First 90 of the year (2024 we had 3 days, never hit 90 in 2023).

Cooled off fairly well last night; 65.7 goes in the books. While you are cooking today to a solid medium/medium-well, realize that Christmas Eve future is now closer than Christmas Eve past.

Warmest so far this year but my guess is I won't get too much sympathy from this crowd. Temp is 88 with a HI of 92.6.

Very humid...DP of 73 is the highest I've seen it since moving here nearly 3 years ago. Got my poor man's window unit cranked and so far, doing a reasonable job. Is it fall yet lol.

More light rain overnight (0.18") and 5.17" so far for the month. Everything is sloppy and overgrown but fortunately we haven't experienced anything like those poor folks in Morgantown/Fairmont.

3.01" for the weekend and 4.87" on the month. In the past 45 days, over 15" has fallen.

Ended up with 2.13” in a very short amount of time. 4” on the nose for the month in MLP. Now in Richmond for Fathers Day and hope we get some goods later on with a juicy airmass.

33.1 with heavy frost this morning. The car's windshield had an amazing amount of ice - pretty wild for June 2nd.

36.9 this morning with a wind chill of 29. Down right cold on the first day of met summer - kinda neat!

Pretty wild overnight, especially for the time of year. 0.96" for the event and 10.12" for the month. Temp in the upper 40s throughout with strong winds gusting to 54 mph.

On the non severe side, this comma head ain't no joke. Winds routinely gusting in the 40s and a driving rain (nearing 0.40" and just getting started). If this was January, I'd be wetting myself.

Flood Watch up for metro areas down to CHO for tomorrow
Interesting that it doesn't include the highlands. I'm over 9 inches for the month and streams are still quite swollen. Must think our QPF won't amount to a whole lot (altho @MillvilleWx and his crew still include us in the slight risk for excessive rainfall).

Think this last batch will about do it. 2.46" for the event and 9.06" for the month.

Since 11 am yesterday, 2.13" (1.08" since midnight). Better dousing than I thought it was going to be especially and thankfully since we never had intense rates. Temp still in mid 40s. 8.73" on the month.

Today sucks lol. 47 with a screaming SE wind and 0.33" in the bucket so far. Closing in on 7" for the month tho which is awesome.

Radar out west looks paltry. This has the makings of another underperformer potentially. I'm not going to be sad with that outcome.
The line that just came through here had some juice with it. Very little T&L but brief torrential rains. 0.79" on the day with 0.56" coming with that line in probably 15 minutes.

Most guidance had the most widespread rain this morning. Certainly looks like an underperformer.
0.07" in the aforementioned Garrett County bullseye lol. Underperformer is one of the terms that comes to mind altho not the only one.

46.8 for the low this morning. Rebounding quickly, already 60.3/50.5 at 9:50 am.
38.3 here last night. Probably not done with the 30s quite yet this spring but glad it didn't go much below that. Spent several weekends planting recently and it would suuuuuck having to redo that.

Forecast was for 63F at the cabin today and we're already at 69F and sunny. No wind either!
It'll be interesting to see how your actual vs. forecast verifies. I bust low/high (sometimes significantly) depending on the setup. Radiational cooling nights I always bust low. Sunny/dry I always bust high. What's the elevation of your cabin?

0.65" on the day with more pedestrian stuff to come. Looking forward to the glorious weather this weekend.
