  1. Around 7 here. One of the few storms that took forever to overcome dry air that actually produced a decent event
  2. I have to laugh that even in this crappy fringe storm, a rogue outer band has formed and as in the rest of the storms, just sat over my house and not shifted west or east.
  3. That is some gradient on the NAM with over an inch liquid over here in Harriman an nothing out past Pine Bush. Gut says the dry air wins out and I only get 3-6 but if NWS verifies Im potentially around 60 inches for March.
  4. I've only been living Harriman /Monroe for 6 years. I was living in my house up in Queensbury (West Mountain) for 7 years before that and in Warwick for 15 years before I retired from the NYPD. I can't imagine this area having 4 feet in March let alone in 11 days. The only time I have seen this much snow in my life in a short span was in Warwick during that freak storm in the 90s where I literally had to jump out of the second floor window of my house to get out. I couldn't push the screen door open to get out the door. Anything on Tuesday will literally be a seasonal norm in less than 3 weeks here
  5. Not home to measure. When I left around dawn there was 3.5 inches. Didn't think we would come close to doubling that this morning on the rotting fringe with banding just to my East. Just having 4 feet fall in 11 days in March with another potential noreaster on the horizon is astounding.
  6. How the hell I have 5.5 inches here in Monroe which as of the 8:50 update is the highest accumulation in the whole coverage area including Suffolk is amazing. 47.5" in 11 days.
  7. 26 with this baby (8 in 2hrs) and 16 last storm. This tops the 2 blizzards in Feb 1978 for me on Staten Island when I was a kid. They dropped 21 and 18.
  8. I will try that next time. The first round was 3-4 feet high and was so much work I didn't want to shovel 1 more scoop than I had to. It was literally cement.
  9. 15.25"....just finished blowing /shoveling and the jackass plow guy buried me again. While I'm fairly certain my area was the local jackpot for the storm, it came at a painful price
  10. 14 inches. Breaking my back to clear the 3 ft pile the plow has left at the top of my driveway. Snowblower worked on rest but took 2 hrs to do because so dense
  11. I'm in the 1.2 contour in upper Harriman. We have civilization here. Lol.
  12. I understand that but how do they paint 4-6 inch blobs on their maps yet forecast 2-4 on the point and click? It goes against their own map
  13. Uptons snow maps don't even match their point and click forecast
