  1. Don't bring up factual history. Greta psychosis needs to rule the day.
  2. Heard that 15 yrs ago. Had 100" of snow a couple of years ago here an hour North of NYC. DC had more 90 degree days in a week and a half than I had all summer. Talk to you in another 15 years and see how things work out.
  3. I don't want to be told by a State let alone a one world governing body how to live. I find young people annoying. They play their music loud in and out of their cars at night and I want peace and quiet in my home. There are urban centric people who don't mind other people's noise living in close proximity to neighbors. Then there are people like me who don't want to hear my neighbors music/TV or in some cases bathroom sounds while I'm in my home with my windows open. If you want that, God bless you but don't think that I and many Americans like me will ever conform to the type of mandated living standards the UN envisions. For the record, I have space but live in what I consider a walkable community with access to sidewalks, a village and miles of NYS protected hiking trails in the Hudson Highlands less than a 10 min walk from my front door. Do I need to drive 7-15 min to access busier commercial areas where I shop? Absolutely. I like it that way. I don't need light, noise pollution where I live nor need to hear my neighbors business. I'm sitting here peacefully by myself along the Hudson River near West Point watching the line of rain creep down towards me. That's how how I want to live my life, not in a socially engineered community
  4. If you consider a world centralized govt and hearding people into crammed "walkable" communities instead of having the option to own a nice piece of land urban planning
  5. Pretty much the deathknell of Capitalism. The end of fossil fuel usage by industry and the redistribution of wealth from Western Countries to poor countries as payment for our sins. Other than that... nothing much If you want a good read, look up the UN's Agenda 21 plan. It clearly outlines their world shaping plans
  6. When kids are hysterical crying the world is going to end before they grow up at rallies across the country/world, structured by the left then excused from School by leftist educators to attend, I find this deeply troubling. There has not been the anticipated global reaction to CC that Socialists wanted so now they have resorted to indoctrinating children through fear of extinction. I have nothing against protecting the environment but when all these kids are on anxiety drugs due to being told their demise is a certainty unless we eliminate CO2 from industry.. I have a huge problem with that.
  7. Last remark.... If the Science is so absolute and settled, why the concerted effort to silence the "climate deniers" including an international list of accredited scientists? If I make a definitive statement to the world that the sun rises in the East, I can give a rats ass what any "astronomy denier" might say or do. I have absolute fact on my side and can back it up 100%. Here's an idea. Put some hard predictions out there World temps going to rise how much in next 2..3..5 yrs. Sea level rises, ice cap melt. Is the world ending in less than 12 years as Alexandrea Greta Occasionally Coherent predicts? Throw it out there and if your wrong, admit it and take your damn apocalypse crystal ball and go home. If correct, then as the short term predictions materialize, point them out and society will fall in line on your side.
  8. Factual or not, the scientific community on board with human induced Climate Change should not have engaged in incidents of historical data altering/smoothing... conveniently removing long standing record high temp occurrences using reasoning that it's too anomalous to be correct (and skews our numbers) so it must be faulty. Then there's damaging e-mails out of U of E. Anglia actually discussing distorting data to solidify the findings they wanted to present to the UN. To me, that's not the damning part. It's the silence and sweep any misdoings under the rug like it didn't happen or as Hillary would say after 15 yrs of denials about her husband's infidelity... "So what. What difference does it make"? For many people who are on the fence of this being a reality or Socialism's last gasp to destroy Capitalism and the wealthy Western way of life, it makes a huge difference of who to believe.
  9. Chik Fil A is in NYC and Paramus NJ. They are building one on the NJ/NY border in Ramsey just before the interchange of the NYS Thruway. They are creeping northward like a snow shield moving into single digit dewpoints
  10. Turned my NG heater off 2 weeks ago and pool was still 77 with the solar cover on. Threw heater on at 10 am and was 81 when I went in an hour ago. Has to be 80 for me to float around comfortably. 75 to swim. I'm a wimp with cold water the older I get. Might have something to do with my low pulse rate.. Usually around 56-60
  11. It rains every year that weekend. Our buses come back with more mud than a pig pen. It's uncanny how that weekend rains almost every yeat
  12. Big difference between people telling you FU to every Cadet saying "thank you Sir". Much more pleasant work environment and more rewarding.
  13. Every year on 9/11 Fox News does a 2 or 3 hr special called Day of Terror. If you ever get to watch it, after the first tower falls and you see the dust filling the street, the first thing they cut to is an interview with me asking me what just happened. I ran into the reporter 2 blocks North as I ran for what I thought was, my life as it started collapsing in front of me. Every year somebody calls me to tell me they just saw me on TV. Try not to think about that day but I guess that interview will follow me as long as there is a Fox News
  14. Thanks. Tell you the truth if I was 20 and in College again today, I don't know if I choose to be a fireman instead. These are sad times regarding community respect for LE in the inner cities.
  15. Actually the Apple may not have fallen far from the tree as you like he promote an uncomfortable environment...
  16. Thanks. 7 minutes from my house. Sure beats 90 min to Chinatown on good day
  17. Would've been special if the kid who never attempted a FG hit it 3 ft left. He would've been treated like a rock star for his 4 years. In that place particularly, that is a good thing.
  18. Yeah. He was an idiot. You don't double down with that. Just say last thing I saw a few days back was a big ugly potato thing that looked like it went to Alibama
  19. Tough guys. This one though is the nicest man you'll ever meet. He's the first African American.
  20. Working in Cadet training at West Point for my retirement career, I am old enough to remember a military purge of top hierarchy in 2008-2009 by the new POTUS who decided that decades of experience was expendable if you didn't have a gentler liberal viewpoint when it came to waging war. This unilateral action was much more dangerous IMO than any removal of an executive branch cabinet member or administration head that was dismissed for political ideology reasons. This also occurred with the dismissal of selected Federal Prosecutors. If we are going to throw around the "F" word, let's not be hypocritical to what recent predecessors partook in.
  21. Maybe Trump threatened to assign them to Muslim Outreach duties in the Middle East like Obama did to NASA.
