  1. Sounds like the bodies are covered again in srn VT.
  2. Dr Ginx said it’s ok to be outdoors, so I’m just hoping weather gets better.
  3. Who laughed at what? Must have missed something. Looks sweet kev.
  4. So basically these posts are all rotted and snapping. I’ll probably replace at least 6 of them. The holes are pretty much there because of the original posts and I have a post digger which works well with one of those pry bars/digging tools. I just want to know what people do for material to fill and keep the posts in place. I was going to use flex seal to keep a sealant and extend the life.
  5. Anybody have experience putting in fence post? I’m hearing that securing them in cement may not be a good idea because it can trap water in accelerate the rotting process. It also could be a pain to move if I eventually need to take it out. However, I was going to put flex seal on it so that water would not penetrate the wood. If not cement, what material would use to pack around the posts?
  6. How is the firewood rack going? I need one as well.
  7. Yeah I have that too. Need to kill it. I thought it was chickweed, but I think you’re right. Any idea what takes it out? Limited time this year with yard. Trying to be wise with money. I am going to put a walkway in where the foot traffic is too much between my walkway to the entrance on my side, and backyard. We’ll see how that DIY project goes.
  8. Yeah solid year. It's too bad Feb sucked because that could have been up with the ones we always speak of.
  9. 96 was definitely better up this way vs 2016. My first 2' event.
  10. Probably in Jan 2013. LOL. But I think it started looking better at the end of the month in terms of the pattern. Only storm where I melted a few days prior, was in 2015 and if mets don't agree they're lying..lol. I thought for sure the system two days before Juno would kick it OTS. Never thought we had room for that to come closer. Boy was I wrong on that, but I think most mets would agree 9/10 times that is a kicker.
  11. That's a great recap. Jan 2011 was epic weenie month in CT, esp western, SW CT. I have no issues with that month again though up this way. That 6 week stretch was great NW of PYM, but an under the radar epic screw job from Diane's old hood through the Cape. I guess they made up for it later on in the decade.
  12. Wait a minute..lol. I melted? I don't think I melted prior to Feb 13.
  13. Here is the thread I had about previous storms.
  14. Yo, what were your questions again regarding MIller bs? Hope is well, son.

  15. I have a thread just like this buried somewhere. Lots of good stuff on it too.
  16. Some of these look like meh events. Stick to the top 5.
  17. I think that was the hail date. There were two massive storms that hit within a few days of each other.
  18. 5 influential events for me. Not in order. 1) Gloria. This storm excelled my passion for weather. Just remember watching trees bending like I’ve never seen before. The stratus was flying by. 2) Blizzard 96. This finally broke the 2’ cherry after being screwed in December 92 and just missing the Feb 94 long duration event. 3) 4/1/97. I still haven’t had a storm that left me in awe like that one did. 4) January 2005. Most intense winds in combo with snow rates and temps I’ve seen. 5) May 1996 Brockton area macroburst. While I didn’t get to directly experience it, it tore through the city and suburbs. The damage I saw was astounding.
