Hey man I'm good, lots of family things going on so really busy this year. Hope you and the rest of the forum are all well!! Thnx for thinking of me my friend that means a lot. Been mainly just browsing and reading when time permits.
Hopefully this boring winter turns around in Feb. soon. Xmas was awesome though with the lil bit of snow and cold so I'm thankful for that. Take care buddy, ty again
Hey man good to hear from you. Glad to see you're doing well. I was wondering as I know you, Jomo, and 24/7 have been on here a few years with me. Are you still in Fayetteville? What are you thinking about this mid-week storm? I think we might be good for 2-4 inches around here.

Has anyone seen any posts from NW Whiteout on here lately? He's usually all over these winter conversations. Hope he's ok.

Slight NW shift on the 00z GFS.
Maybe the SE trend has stopped.

I give it another 24-36 hours to let the models settle. This is a classic case of the models shifting back & forth on the track as the system gets sampled.
Yah this is probably not done waffling.

We've shifted from an I-44 special to an E OK and AR Ozarks special.

Pretty interesting stats
Shows just how rare that elusive 12" snow is.

Beautiful 3 deg heavy snow globe in Bella Vista.

Ste. Genevieve, MO. Right along the Mississippi, about two counties south of STL.
Ok cool. I used to live in Dexter, MO and went to Cape a lot. Nice country over there.

I'm deliberately ignoring the NAM and the GFS, closing my eyes and plugging my ears and going "LALALALALA," in fact... and hugging the 12z HRRR, which gives me 3-5" depending on ratios.
That HRRR does look good for far NWA. Where are you located?

I’m not gonna lie…I saw this before the model and was expecting a lot more than 4-6” lol
My apologies on that. I didn't change the run and was looking at the 12z map. Nothing to be bonkers about on the 0z.

0z GFS is bonkers with total snow by next Friday.

About an inch here in Bella Vista tonight. Pretty sight.

Not a big fan of November snows. Seems like it kills the rest of our winter when it comes early.

The storm coming through Mon night/Tues takes a great track for snow, if it was only winter.
Would be perfect. Nice backside deformation setting up today. Would clobber us with heavy snow.

Decent mid-March snow here. Very heavy, wet flakes. Probably 1-1 1/2 inches so far in Bentonville/Bella Vista. Hard to say for sure with the sun angle/melting.
I'm in Kentucky working this week so missing it. Keep me updated on your totals, pls. Thanks

Indeed! Lightning showing up on my RadarScope in the Bella Vista area as well. Hoping most of this band is sleet or snow. I wouldn't want freezing rain with this wave.
Clap of thunder with heavy sleet in BV.

This is more of a classic system for us... rain and storms on the front side and a backside wallop of something. I just don't want ice.
It's the Euro/Ukie/GEM vs the GFS as of now. GFS not excited about anything on the wraparound.

Great storm it was. When's the next snow??

Right around the same here man, we did good. Maybe a few more inches tonight, if so that will be the most I have seen since moving here in 2013. 5" is the sweet spot for me, anything more and it gets tough to walk in when you're in the woods hiking lol.
Yah this was a good one. Was hoping for 8-10 but you know how that goes.

Measured 7 here at noon.

I have no way of knowing how much snow we have. The drifting has happened in areas that it doesn't normally drift in. Our south facing front door had an inch or two drifted in front of it when I opened it this morning. Will wait until it is all said and done before I measure for a final total.
Same here. If I were guessing maybe in the 4-5 range.

All snow here in Bella Vista, has been for a couple of hours maybe. I see the new graphic out of Tulsa shows pockets of 8-12 across some of this region. Makes the Dan Skoff call look reasonable for 10+ across N Benton Co. We'll see.
