  1. That sleet is damned hard to shovel. What a workout.
  2. I don't know if I've ever seen/heard it sleet so hard. It honestly sounds like a downpour.
  3. And this is going to bust. Unless that 2-4 is in sleet.
  4. I think it's over. The writing is on the wall.
  5. Garbage because it doesn't show 40 inches of snow? Sure. Let's call the most likely outcome "garbage." Joe "Garbage" Bastardi.
  6. I'll take that but the largest singular snowfall I've had this year is I believe 5 inches. This area has been the definition of nickel and dimed.
  7. WSW hoisted for Bedford, Blair, Cambria, and Somerset counties.
  8. Surprised it's not Miller Light, you drunk bastard.
  9. Here's my opinion. It looks like the models are starting to establish a universe in which we get screwed on each and every single threat that's upcoming. For that alone I think individual threads is unnecessary. We just need to be careful when discussing which threat with which model run.
  10. I stopped reading there. Nobody goes for a salad. There is either stuff to make salad there, or you eat something else. Those are the rules.
  11. It will snow where it has snowed. A tale as old as time.
  12. Any of yous following this debacle out in Oklahoma? Apparently a network affiliate based out of OKC greased a politician to draft a bill requiring storm chasers to be licensed and affiliated with a network in order to chase storms in Oklahoma. Naturally this has the private weather enterprise up in arms because the vast majority of chasers are now essentially out of work in the traditional heart of Tornado Alley. Reed Timmer, not granted an exemption to this nonsense recently tweeted "WOW," and inside the replies, somebody indicated a storm chaser has established a snitch line. Crazy times.
  13. Hey. Let's keep that shit in the bedroom, okay?
  14. Sleet appears to have been the precipitation of choice here this evening and overnight.
  15. Fire is going to take a FID day. Stay home, damnit.
  16. Again, I have to ask. When is the last time the entire Commonwealth Philadelphia notwithstanding had this amount of snow on the ground? I know this is an aggregate and not for one individual storm, but I just don't see it. Am I to believe one storm will pound 80-North and one storm 80-South? Not a chance. I'll ask again: When was the last time a single snowstorm dropped more than 10" on Emporium? This would either require a doubling of that, or a storm that triples that amount. I think the next week plus is pie in the sky.
  17. I'll wave to her as I slide down Seven Mountains before coming to a fiery crash in Milroy.
