    I definitely question some old home thermometer readings I’ve seen in literature. Like Gardner MA readings of -50 from back in the 1930s or 1940s. I get cc and all but I’ve never seen colder than -19 in my rad area in 25+ years.

    Yeah. I was mentally questioning it. I think the state record is from Mount Washington at -47F

    Out doing some last minute shopping. Was at the local mom and pop convenience store and talking to the owner. she lived in the extreme northern part of NH for a while (her husband was from there). She saw -64F on her kitchen thermo once. Routinely got to -30 to -40F. Older lady. Mid 70s or so.

    Yeah. This morning’s low here of 3.9F just barely beat out January’s 4.1 for coldest of the year.

    Could go below zero for the first time this season either tonight or tomorrow. I doubt it happens tonight but it will be cold.

    Yeah. We had a pretty squally/windy event on the 23rd that gave me around 3-4”. Did some damage around here from the wind. We also had some melting and a flash freeze.
