  1. Lol. The media its scientists buddy.
  2. Albert Hsu, MD, a reproductive endocrinologist at MU Health Care, said he frequently hears COVID-19 vaccine concerns from patients who are trying to conceive. “While studies are ongoing, there is no data that the COVID-19 vaccines may cause infertility and no credible scientific theories for how the COVID-19 vaccine may cause female infertility,” Hsu said. “Statements linking COVID-19 vaccines to female infertility are currently speculative at best.”
  3. You know what causes pregnancy issues... Covid https://www.marketwatch.com/amp/story/covid-19-but-not-the-vaccine-may-reduce-male-fertility-11627308667
  4. Grasping at straws. Tilting at windmills. Making shit up. No data=failed argument
  5. Omg. The fertility bullshit. you are an idiot
  6. We live in the dumbest of times
  7. So no data equals people covering up. Got it.
  8. Well, a chunk of the unvaccinated are kids under 12. Not sure of how many that is. I get the initial hesitancy. Now the data is very clear.
  9. Show me data? Or is everything being hidden in the vast conspiracy world
  10. We have had a leak from our upstairs bathroom a couple of times. Corrosion in the valves etc. Our plumber told us the next time it might be a bigger deal to replace.
  11. 3 Americans have died due to the vaccines. Out of 170 million who have taken them. Some get side effects. Some of those have been nasty. But for the vast vast VAST majority, (far more of a majority than those getting very ill or dying from the disease) they have been shown to be safe. I am unhappy because this could have been done with a month or more ago. Science gave us an incredible tool and it is being wasted.
  12. yep. Or polio. Or tetanus. Crazy what those jabs can do
  13. The Delta variant of the coronavirus, now dominant in the U.S. and many other countries, may induce a viral load that is 1,000 times higher than the level that was typically associated with the ancestral lineage of the virus in early 2020. This higher viral load makes Delta infections more contagious, which has led to a greater number of breakthrough cases, albeit many mild or asymptomatic. But the mRNA-based vaccines still provide strong protection, with efficacy against symptomatic infection in the range of 80 to 90 percent. And the ability of these vaccines to substantially reduce viral load in breakthrough cases could be a valuable tool in containing spread of the Delta variant.
  14. And Flight Simulator on the XBox is amazing. Took a while to download updates and get it going but once that is all set yowza Im really bad at landing. And 747s don’t handle very well
  15. From the same article Until now, based on the available data from the vaccine trials, much of the public health messaging around vaccination has focused on the individual benefit. And the efficacy of the COVID vaccines in protecting against illness is indeed remarkable. But with mounting evidence that confirms effectiveness in reducing transmission, it is time to begin emphasizing the societal benefit—and the personal responsibility to avoid harming others.
  16. Regarding the spread by vaccinated people https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/the-crucial-vaccine-benefit-were-not-talking-about-enough1/ The totality of these impressive data should bolster confidence that the COVID vaccines are extraordinarily effective in reducing transmission of the virus. This suggests that vaccinating a large majority of Americans throughout the country is our surest bet for returning to normal. Entirely eliminating spread of the virus may be an unreachable goal, but mass vaccination—in the U.S. and around the world—will relegate COVID to the background of our lives.
  17. If it were up to me I would be basing it primarily on factors like hospitalizations and deaths. Cases can be a barometer but prob not as important imho.
  18. People suggested that too much testing was happening last year and it should stop. It’s still a pandemic. Might be a good idea that people know if they are at risk. Not sure how this is hard to grasp.
  19. Bad take last March. Bad take today
  20. I think it will last longer here but still should drop quickly. Delta driven surges seem to be getting done quickly in many countries. And for those question the toughness of S Biles, please do some research. She is pretty damned tough. Has competed with broken bones etc.
  21. That girl from Alaska killed it
  22. Flipping between Sox and Olympics.
  23. My son is at the game at Fenway tonight
