  1. 9 of the top 10 New England snow totals in KevinMA's table were N of the Pike last winter
  2. 2.44” here for the event. As Scooter knows, we keep measuring in inches.
  3. Tell me about it... this is such an annoying pattern... fook the Hadley Cell or whatever we are stuck in
  4. Tip will be writing a gigantic post about it that will never get posted…
  5. I wonder if today is the day the internet crashes
  6. Sunday was pretty cloudy most of the day in my area... rain moved in in the late afternoon
  7. Starting in my mid 40s I had occasional terrible back spasms/strains whatever’s. They were awful. Rest, heat, anti inflammatory OTC meds helped. I’ve started to do a lot more exercise in the past 18 or so months (since Covid hit) and try to do a bunch of core and stretching/yoga/Pilates type stuff along with weights. That has helped a ton. Good luck to you
  8. Not for nothing but the South Pole has been very cold…. Just wanted to tweak some people https://www.washingtonpost.com/weather/2021/10/01/south-pole-coldest-winter-record/
  9. For those who want their heads to explode
  10. Tampa Bay will mop the floor with whoever goes against them
  11. Warm and wet as far as the eye can see. Extended late summer.
  12. It is definitely a mix of issues. Infrastructure, labor, too much of some materials in some places, not enough in others. Will take a couple of years to sort out methinks
  13. Yeah. No real cold for a while. Autumns of yore are a memory
  14. 100ish cargo container ships parked off the coast of S Cali with no one to offload them. Similar in NY
  15. First few days look BN, but the rest of the month, yeah... probably
  16. Been snowing off and on in Iceland for the past week plus... the weenies should organize a trip there. Lots of breweries to explore
  17. I helped to build a house that John Stephens ordered. I actually broke a toe when I dropped part of an oak staircase on it... which led to "toenail talk"...lol Rod Rust lived in a house near my parent's house (one that a friend lived in when we were kids)
  18. 43.4F for the low at the nearest Davis station to me. Matched pretty well with my cheap unit (43.2) Just took the students outside for a bit. Spectacular day
  19. I was selling Cokes and nasty hot dogs in the stands at one point. My first paycheck.
