  1. Yeah. Those are pretty amazing events. I’m fortunate to have been in 3. 2023, 1997, and the biggest of all, 1978. I didn’t live in N ORH for Dec 1992, but that must have been incredible. I was in Foxboro for 1978. The one last March was kind of “meh” in comparison. Plus so few others got to enjoy it.
  2. Before the 2023 storm, I don’t recall a 30+” event since the 3/31/97 one here. A few came close…
  3. Yeah. We had one decent event earlier in the month. Nothing siggy since. 1” on the ground.
  4. It’s not that good. Not terrible but not a classic like the original.
  5. Does excess salt on the roads from an overzealous DPW count?
  6. I used my leaf blower to clear out my steps, walkway, and part of the driveway. Not bothering with the rest. mood flakes keeping it festive.
  7. Looks to be done here. Had a nice burst for a while 0.75” new. So, over an inch OTG. White Christmas seems probable.
  8. Oh, that has been there at least since the early 1990s. They get a ton of visitors due to its proximity to Boston metro.
  9. I would expect more of that. Maybe an inch of things go well.
  10. I wish the other Rte 2 corridor was getting some. Enjoy it!
  11. I definitely question some old home thermometer readings I’ve seen in literature. Like Gardner MA readings of -50 from back in the 1930s or 1940s. I get cc and all but I’ve never seen colder than -19 in my rad area in 25+ years.
  12. Yeah. I was mentally questioning it. I think the state record is from Mount Washington at -47F
  13. Out doing some last minute shopping. Was at the local mom and pop convenience store and talking to the owner. she lived in the extreme northern part of NH for a while (her husband was from there). She saw -64F on her kitchen thermo once. Routinely got to -30 to -40F. Older lady. Mid 70s or so.
  14. Friend of mine from the other side of my town said -4.0F. Her house is in a bit of a hole so I’m not surprised.
  15. Even a few flakes and seasonal cold is better than a 60F Rainer.
