    I get the boring part. But it is great for doing things, having fun outdoors, etc. Would prefer this over cold rain or muggy/stale.

    A bit of early fall color showing in the usual spots near me. Not just the swamp maples. Those started a couple of weeks back. caterpillars looking to move in. still might do a dip in the pool later this week, just for fun

    Something similar happened to me. I dropped part of a complete staircase (seriously - we were building a house for a young NE Patriot player named John Stephens) and it was a custom staircase that had been ordered from a mill. Oops. A while later I went to a podiatrist(?) who yanked the nail and the new one has been funky ever since.

    Was out kayaking and at the mountain for much of the day. The sun felt hot!!! but my house only got to 72.

    We got a little rain last night, but I’m glad we ended up drier. Not a bad weekend. Tomorrow looks amazing.

    Yeah. The column gets so hot what little smoke it makes go straight up. I’m wondering how the heat deflector works. We will be getting one at some point as the weather cools.

    Just broken in my solo stove last night. I was amazed at how little ash was left. That sucker gets hot.

    Yeah. Some districts do that every Wednesday. Not mine. We have a few half days sprinkled here and there but not even monthly. I hate those days.

    Some places do that. Wednesdays or some such as half days for students. my daughter’s district does that a few times per month. pain for the parents IMHO
