I'm trying to stay off social media today .I'm a gun owner (lots), the second you are institutionalized, you need to forfeit your guns immediately. This isn't a tough ask.

I question how long Vail will hang on to Attitash? They unfortunately end up being a snow hole of sorts so there is a combo of high ticket prices but marginal conditions.
The people I know who have lodging up in North Conway tend to go to either Wildcat or Bretton Woods. Sometimes they just take the 75 minute drive over to Sunday River. When we stay in N Conway we drive right by Attitash that is usually half bare to ski Bretton woods which always has better snow.

I get the sentiment but those things aren’t cheap either to build and maintain and insure. Killington is $30+ and $24+. Pretty standard rates in industry is $25-$40 for a senic lift ride.
You hike up and it’s free to ride down at least, ha. I don’t know, it’s got a 20+ minute line to ride in the fall so at that price there’s a demand. I always go back to economic principles on this stuff; no one would look at what goes on in the fall and think, yeah this is priced too high.
Like I said, you start to figure out there is an enormous amount of wealth in the northeastern US working in some of these resort towns.
Just got back from Nantucket. Most of those folks have a house at Stowe too. Foolish money.

Just played 9 holes of golf mean streets of Duxbury pre-storm. Felt it was similar to pre-1938. People going about their business not a care in the world. We will see what tonight brings. Hopefully, we survive. Storm party at my house tonight. Liquor store was mobbed.

Euro is trash. Maybe gfs is too Far East, but I don’t buy the euro.
We have a lot riding on this. 4 oyster farms on Cape Cod and one in Damariscotta River Maine. Pulling all the boats/flippers and anything not strapped down Thursday/Friday

Just an outside observer but all week I’ve read GEFS is wrong ride the Euro . Then overnight board sentiment has flip flopped and now Euro is an outlier ride the GEFS. Can’t wait for snow season.

Just got back from a week in Michigan. Courses there are 1/2 to 1/3 price of Massachusetts, way better shape and MUCH harder . All muni courses have black tees.
Played 4 rounds with Pilgrim Run north of Grand Rapids being the nicest course I've played in a while, public and $80. That would be $150 -200 on the South shore. (Pine Hills and Waverly are junk compared to it and $150).
