Remember guys, the last storm was all about the south until it wasn't. Just an observation, but I see these things move west and north more than I do East.
I had to go look that one up, wasn't a hammer down this way. Looks like you guys got hit hard! I have seen some warnings pop up along the parkway near Wintergreen but nothing large scale down here since 1993.
It seems more times than not these storms move more NW. Think of how many times we've seen storms show tons of snow then gradually get warmer as the low slides towards the mountains. Not scientific just hoping that trend continues.
Certain areas in the south have the potential to break several records over the next week. Rivers freezing that haven't froze in years, infrastructure damage? Frozen waterfall pics, Post them here.

These river valleys take forever to warm up, there will probably be several deep valleys in Virginia that don't make it out of the teens when this final push comes through
