  1. This could, in all reality, be a tip 'wintry feel' storm of the year. Unless snow always falls straight down here?
  2. I think I'm realistically looking at 6". I went conservative for credibility purposes. Need more posters close by to officially report a local max. I am not confident enough for that.
  3. If you extrapolate Binghamton and Albany with okx you can see how snow is pivoting and lining up for that berks to northern CT area suite nicely.
  4. It's gotta be four, it's the question whether or not it's five, and I'm too lazy to check. Busy drinking dirty martinis watching home alone.
  5. As that WV loop pivots tonight you're gonna see snow pick up again. I wonder where. I like that northern stripe of CT along MA border. It just depends on where it sets up. Right now, I wish I was a town or two north or west IMO. We'll see.
  6. I am in Weatogue at the new Talcott Mountain complex. Here is my station FYI https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KCTWEATO10
  7. I'm a lazy bastard who does not want to go out and measure, but by my deck and the parking lot, I'd say I'm close to or at 5".
  8. So you think 4" minimum sounds fair for Simsbury? I must be close to 5" in not too much longer.
  9. I can see things reblossoming a bit nearby to me. Which is exciting AF. Seeing as we already did really well.
  10. Granby, Barkhamsted, Salisbury, Colebrook, Norfolk, Hartland, Winchester, Canaan.
  11. Very encouraged for Simsbury and particularly just west. Echos have been strong right near or over my house for some time. I am at UConn hockey game at the old Civic center. Will be a fun ride home.
  12. Can rename this something else? Thread is kinda inaccurate. Snowing Hard outside the Tavern in Hartford. Just had another voodoo ranger. Radar looks like an incoming crushing north CT into the berks and other parts of interior CT.
  13. Easiest way to use radarsscope to locate IVT? What dual Pol or radar product?
  14. The early snow growth is excellent. Light snow from Simsbury to Windsor at the in-laws dropping supplies off to the sick family. You bet my ass I wore a mask. No thanks influenza. Looped down 91 where ceiling heightened and breaks of sun could be seen south of Hartford properly. Running errands in Blue Back square. With all the yuppies, I feel right at home like I'm in Southie. Puke. Sitting in car watching my weenie trends while the commander-in-chief shops. Only intermittent flurries in WeHa.
  15. I know this is an old post. But notice how I get the most snow. I think this model is accurate. Here are my thoughts why:
  16. When you pointed that out, and I didn't even realize I was, it was time for ME to leave. LOL.
  17. Pretty certain one not half bad looking chick was ready to play with our world cups outside the bar when Bob and I were talking.
  18. Already in Simsbury. Thank you for the great turnout
  19. What an awesome time. Thanks to everyone who came.
