  1. We'll know what the deal is in the next six hours. plus a new euro at 1am. but better off than anything just watching radar and sat at this point.
  2. Your right on the PHL/NJ side without a doubt. Just want to clarify.. I was specifically talking about NYC and the surrounding areas near it.
  3. http://www.wunderground.com/weather-radar/united-states/ny/new-york-city/okx/?region=hfd Heavy snow backing into NYC.
  4. It's way wrong with the precip near NYC. Look at how light it is. There is a deform band on the city's doorstep as we speak.
  5. How is this euro too far west or grievously wrong? I just did a little comparison. The Red L is the location of our storm at 6z on the 12z euro run. There Blue L is the actual current 4z location of the storm. How the hell is the euro wrong yet? 12z is when NYC gets the goods on the 12z euro, and the current storm track isn't far off!
  6. Euro is not far off with it's low placement right now FWIW.
  7. Yeah, it is too far east. So is the GFS. I mean the GFS is laughable. NAM precip shield looks off to me too. It had nothing heavy near me until 6z, it's 4z and my vis is down to like 100 yds lol.
  8. This thing is still east of the Delmarva and it's getting written off. All I'm saying. It's heading due north right now. Not northeast.
  9. b**ch and whine whether its cold and dry or a blizzard. I think I need a break. It's no fun
  10. Some need to take deep breaths and relax. From WPC : 990 MB...29.23 INCHES...WAS CENTERED APPROXIMATELY 200 MILES SOUTH OF THE EASTERN TIP OF LONG ISLAND...NEW YORK AND MOVING NORTHWARD
  11. Euro is nearly spot on with the 7h from 12z run... It's getting ready to pop off the delmarva now.
  12. Euro looks fine to me. Look at 5h and 7h on mesoanalysis. Once that closes off they will do very well. It also looks to be as if Eastern Mass is going to get absolutely shellacked judging by downstream radar.
  13. Yeah, euro and nam look best now. I think the HVN feb 13' type of band is going to be in the eastern half of SNE this time around.
  14. Euro had the LP tracking NE a few more ticks before N/NNW when it had the late capture.
  15. There is literally no point yet. RPM looks clueless. Honestly, euro looks pretty good so far with its 12z run.
  16. I really like that band south of SNE for a Prov to Bos corridor
  17. I also wouldn't even look at the HRRR or RAP for a few hours. Think of how unreliable they are at the end of their runs traditionally.
  18. I wouldn't worry about NYC and western sne. It doesn't get fronto band apocalypse until mid levels close off. A little hairy and worrisome till it happens but... patience. Might be some cliff hanging weenies until then in NYC forum.
  19. It's weak but of similar size and location... I know it's a reach but
