    n00b question - what is the difference between the EPS Ensemble Control, and the standard Euro Operational model? Different physics? From what I understand, the Ensemble Control is the un-augmented run, which sounds like what the Operational is.

    There likely is. I ended up doing cyber security, so I never went far into the GIS field, but I feel like there are likely jobs in the meteorology field

    So I have a degree in geography and environmental systems with a minor in GIS. The program I followed had some classes on meteorology, but the main focus of the GIS specific classes were on map design concepts using Adobe Illustrator and technical layout, data manipulation, projections, and creation using ArcGIS. I’d say there is some overlap, but in my case not a ton - but it also probably depends on the specific program the school offers.
