  1. 11.7" storm total 71.5" on the year. Thought we would get higher based on radar but the flakes never really increased in size here. Pixie dust nearly the entire day.
  2. If I ran my snowblower right now the neighbors would kill me.
  3. There is something so relaxing when snow is falling and walking alone at night with your dog. Its calms my soul lol.
  4. Couple pics from the jeb walk with the doggy tonight. Was so peaceful, no one was out.
  5. Yeah shes very similar to her loves the snow. Shes the snow capital of WNY by far. She gets all the upslope off the Chautuaqua ridge. Think her average is like 225" a year.
  6. Shes a coop observer so I'd say real. Shes also at like 1300 feet on a hill. Shes been reporting since the late 90s.
  7. December is my favorite winter month. Losing it makes it impossible to give this winter a good grade.

  10. Yeah this storm doesn't warrant a travel advisory. IMO they should only be used in strong LES events. Synoptic events just don't really need them. Its been snowing for almost 24 hours to get almost 9" of snow.
  11. The towns issue them based on road conditions. Not really that bad visibility wise but the roads are really icy underneath.
  12. Going cross country skiing in Alleghany on Sunday and hopefully holiday valley Mon/Tues night. Did you see the intense milk deal? Its 2 passes for $42 for Mon/Tues from 330-10.

  14. Heaviest band in WNY is from Orleans into Erie County. Possible lake enhancement.
  15. Definitely moved further northwest. The taint line made it pretty close to Erie county. 6-7" so far here and its not supposed to stop snowing until noon tomorrow.
