I can't believe you enjoy this weather. This is absolutely brutal. I can't enjoy my pool or do outdoor activities. Just got back from Nashville for 3 days for a company trip I won. Such a cool city. Live bands on every floor of every bar/restaurant in the entire Broadway district.

Finally getting some nicer weather around here. Has been a brutal last few weeks. Really hoping we can get some sustained summer weather going soon.

That's what I get for going off of memory. We still have quite a bit of June to go above normal for departures.

We will be warmer then average from Thurs to the middle of next week followed by a brief cooldown for a few days into next weekend and then we should be around average following that cooldown as the summer pattern kicks in with a zonal flow.

Last year had a slow start to summer too I believe? June was much cooler then normal. July-September was just ridiculously hot for this area. May was almost as warm as June was.

Thanks. Getting a high of 56 near peak solstice is much rarer then getting a high of 88 for June 3rd.

A high of 56 on Monday, June 3rd. That has to be a pretty hefty departure from normal. Next weekend looks warmer than average upper 70s/low 80s.

Has anyone been by lake Ontario recently? Looks like record water levels and some damage along the shoreline.

Pretty brutal weather week coming up. Was planning on opening my pool, but might delay. Already June 1st on Saturday. Crazy!

Western Genesee County in western New York... * Until 745 PM EDT.. * At 645 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Grand Island to 17 miles northwest of Angola on the Lake, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated.

Yesterdays tornado outbreak was a pretty big bust. Haven't seen one like that in awhile. Weather forecasting still has a long way to go.

There was a tornado warning at this same time with radar indicating a tornado. That definitely looks very close to the ground, tough to tell because of how far away it is. But that is a massive funnel. There is a massive tornadic outbreak that is going to happen this afternoon. Some of the craziest soundings I've seen since April 2011. Will be following it closely in the western section.

The average high/low for the 26th (memorial day) is 70/51. Thought it would be a little warmer then that. Water levels right now are at their highest in history. I was looking at the walkway along the Niagara river and its almost completely submerged, I've never seen that before.
