Yes, for us on the southern edge, it's definitely looking slightly warmer. When I say slightly, it's miniscule.

Annoying how social media posts snow maps, like its set in stone. 7 to 10 days out, and the social media idiots are posting this nonsense.

The warm ground will affect snow totals, but if it snows hard enough, it won't matter too much.

You can't deny the "warming" trend. Sure, it's gonna be cold, but the models have consistently backed down a bit on how extreme it was supposed to be. To be honest, I wasn't buying how cold it would be.

True, but i believe this might be our only real shot for any kind of snowfall. Late Jan will bring rain storms more than likely.

Was hiding in my closet at 4 am this morning. Tornado warning siren woke us up. High winds just 1 mile south of us, power lines down. Dodged a bullet. Scary sht.

If anyone is disappointed with 3-6 inches of snow, they need to move. Getting that these days down here, is like getting a blizzard in the NE these days.

At this point, we all know it will be COLD. Just need some precip at the right time. The GFS is backing off how cold it does get though the last few runs.

Well, we have the precip available for a couple events, but it doesn't seem like it will be cold enough for most during the events. Plenty of time though to have that change.

I am new to the south, didn't realize we could get a clipper down here. They used to overperform most times in the NE.

Everyone here can thank me for the cold, and snow in January, as my inground pool dig starts Jan6th
