Wow. Incredible shaking here.

He needs to work on his terminology a little. Oklahoma doesn't have a Task Force 1 and neither does Arkansas.
Am I reading this wrong? http://www.ok-tf1.org/

Here is my story of the historic May 22nd, 2011 Joplin tornado.
Thanks for sharing your story of that horrible day.
It sounds like you did everything humanly possible, and I have no doubt that your efforts saved many lives.

JoMo,
I'm glad to hear you and your family are safe. I'm sorry for the deaths and devastation your community is dealing with.

There was a debris ball on a radar scan at 538...when the tornado looked very near him. I'm wondering if the NWS preliminary storm survey might be off by a few minutes.
I thought it indicated they were going to be looking closer at both the start and end points, and that the path distance was likely to increase.

I hate to ask, but any word on JoMo yet?
I wouldn't draw any conclusions for a while. It could very well be days before he will even have internet access again, and even if he has internet access, he may a number of other things to be taking care of before he checks in here.

Another report I read had a quote from the governor saying that the storm was so loud that people could not likely hear the sirens.
By the time it's that loud, it's too late for sirens.

Is it just me or did this one look off the charts.....EF6 ?
It's just you.
No such thing as an EF6.

I presume that's preliminary? I note it's described as "poorly constrained," but have no idea what that means.
