  1. Never seen anything like this. Total damage on the property, multiple big trees down. One right in the front lawn and another one down by the road. Back patio heavy furniture, which is blocked by the house and faces southeast, was knocked over and flipped upside down. Debris everywhere. Luckily the house is fine, besides pasted leaves against it everywhere. Trying to upload pics but photobucket is giving me a host error.
  2. Serious stuff back home neighbor sounded so panicky, damage all around.
  3. Southbury police confirming multiple trees down on Southford Rd.
  4. He’s walking to work now. No access to smart phone, he still has a flip.
  5. Memorable day on tap....one we will tell our grandchildren about.
  6. And it sucks you can’t fit your truck in the garage....oh boy oh boy oh boy.
  7. Let’s go with Tornado, we can always adjust upwards.
  8. I always thought foggy morning drives to work with clearing skies during the day leads to good storms. Lets pray for Wiz and his sex life this does not dissapoint....he may not get another chance.
  9. Which is why im thinking aerate then lime it. Just got the equipment was planning on a fall gutjob but i may not be able to look at the lawn until then, shades closed. I guess I want to get it somewhat passable until the fall.
  10. Would my acidic lawn benefit from aeration and lime application right now?
  11. I havent put any weed n feed down cuz my soil is super acidic. I laid the JG Magical last month but thats it. I could lime it up some more but I feels like this needs a new foundation.
  12. You once talked about (fairly recent maybe early winter) how you cruise the speed limit in the left lane and never move over to the right while cars piled up behind flashing their high beems. A bunch of us berated your poor driving skills....did you learn something new in drivers ed last semester ? Hopefully you saw a few dark clouds earlier, what a rush.
  13. Not the way you drive. You’ll get there on Sunday.
  14. Wiz season starting off as usual. That dood is like the warm version of Snow88, always finding a way to envision a clap of thunder.
  15. I think I will let this growing season play out as is, not waste more money on this turrable lawn....and in the fall, sod cut it and redo the whole thing right with either sod or topsoil with prestine seeding. Putting bandaids on a bleeing jugular won’t heal it. Need to operate.
