  1. Interesting. You’d think they have plenty of squirrels as food source though.
  2. Migrated SE to find better food source? lol I have no idea. I haven’t seen one yet and usually they’re hanging out on the deck sipping a beverage by now.
  3. I used to have a lot last year too but nothing this year. Strange.
  4. I’ll get my bro to come up from NJ one weekend to get the bigger ones down. You’re right though, I won’t rush it and just tackle one here or there eventually. There’s so many projects I want to do I have to tell myself to be patient, can’t get them all done at once.
  5. Love those snakes. Have two on the property. They keep the mice at bay.
  6. I will aerate and seed in the fall myself but other than that, I let the service do the work. It’s only my second growing season here but a huge difference from last year when I applied it myself. Money well spent imo.
  7. I actually find it cheaper to go with a good service vs buying tons of bags and doing the labor yourself. I pay $75 x 5 this season and they come back free of charge if weeds or crabgrass pop up. If I did all the ‘steps’ myself I would pay more than $400 for the season. I’ve also freed myself to do other landscaping projects that I otherwise would not have the time to do...cuz I’d be constantly worrying about doing my lawn care, when to apply, 1hr roundtrip drive to the store, etc etc.
  8. I want to cut so many trees on my property but would deff need help. Anything close to the house needs to go plus we are heavily wooded that shades the grass in many areas causing excess of moss. Not to mention how it breeds ticks. We were lucky none of the close trees fell on the house when the EF1 struck last May. The downside of our 1.7 acres, woods...wish it was all or mostly lawn/grass.
  9. Same issue here in the 115 range. Flushed several gap wedges and overshot the green each time....and because I have subpar long distance vision I was always surprised walking up the green it wasn’t on. Now I know to hit the 54 degree wedge next time and push the gap to 130-135.
  10. Anyone have experience/feedback on the Ryobi 40V trimmer (weed wacker)?
  11. Fading me breaking 80 was the right bet. Shot a 86. Tee to green was on point, for the most part, but I shat myself on the greens. When you hit a mid iron within 5 feet on 2 occasions and fail to make birds....and 3 put bogey in 4 spots....theres you break 80 hopes go right down the drain.
  12. First round dude and being out there is good enough. Should be better this weekend. I’m playing my first full 18 tomorrow. Relatively flat course but my sales president is fading me breaking 80. Shot 84 there last year. I think I can do it but one or two bad holes which I am always susceptible of will kill it.
  13. Kind of a quite period but not as bad as the past seasons since the schedule change gives us a major in 4 consecutive months. Memorial should be good next week but then onto the US Open.
  14. I’ve never been a fan of hydroseeding but I’m also no expert. Regardless, keep at it man.
  15. Ugh, DJ’s back to back bogies there will do it.
  16. Witnessing the most dominant major performer in today’s game. In fact, you can argue Koepka’s current stretch surpasses any of Tiger’s great stretches....simply because the competition is much better today.
  17. What a perfect day to continue the multi year landscaping project. Need these types of saturdays to chip away at it.
  18. Brooks is just too good in majors. This can get boring quickly if he doesn’t stumble.
  19. Such a nice lush lawn ruined by the cutting style/form.
  20. It’s been very tough weather wise. But I was shocked how dry the course was this past Saturday. Greens were spongey and soft but I was expecting to plunk a couple shots in fairways and see water filled bunkers....which was not the case. Has to be course dependent on how well it can drain.
  21. Big fan of Bethpage Black. Should be another memorable major.
