  1. Regression was 15/16 for EMA? This is way above my knowledge but I doubt we have stretches like the 80s anytime soon nor as prolonged. Because even if we find ourselves in a crap winter pattern, it’s easier nowadays to sneak in a big system to offset it. Not sure if 11/12 is an ideal proof but something like that....one rogue storm. Maybe some of my thinking is recent bias but until proven otherwise, I’ll stand by it.
  2. We saw the possibilities of a good -nao in march from a storm perspective, but also how it isn’t the end all be all. Most systems lacked a true snowy airmass. Granted it was March but the early April event shows why a great pacific is favored over the atlantic when push comes to shove. Sure, ideally, we want both...but we’ve seen over the past decade that favorable epo/pna lead the way.
  3. Links, pics...all gone to crap. Make this board great again.
  4. Nam been doing well with severe lately around these parts. Already prefered by OKX this morning. Severe day ahead, be prepared.
  5. Win some you lose some Jimmy. Heres to hoping a strong nado by cape cod standards flips your mattress, with you on it, upside down tomorrow.
  6. Time is ticking...severe season quickly coming to an end soon.
  7. If you stumble upon fresh bear crap in the woods, is it considered crap and could you be in danger? I think so.
  8. Will the storm tracks shift far enough closer to the BM to give the west crew a slim shot of a KU? Just one...?
  9. Yes that’s my understanding as well. The authors at EasternMass blog do a great job explaining this stuff in their winter outlooks.
  10. The great winters of the 60s featured a low solar period iirc?
  11. Yea I had to crop the pics in order to upload, which also zooms it in. But he said he saw it live for about 30 secs, max, it was quick....and if you look at the first pic, the thin funnel/spout is behind the power lines that drape across the street. It was clearly ‘inside’ the storm. Interesting looking regardless.
  12. This was in Flemington NJ 5:03:38pm lol, only water around (just checked map of dropbox location where pic taken) would be the South Branch Raritan river. I can give exact coordinates of picture if someone can match up with radar. Maybe it was a zipping landphoonado....
  13. Lol my brother took it he has zero tech skills. I’ll showmore.
  14. Bro reporting a spinner in WNJ, head on. Have a pic but ever since photobucket no longer supported it sucks uploading on mobile.
