  1. Be well Ginx. With the dews and rains being the new norm, at least we never have to hear about severe drought again.
  2. Unplugged it good yesterday. Lime and seed today. I should see improvements in the spring.
  3. Keep the mower setting on high, growing season continues.
  4. That would be very stressful to lawns considering the drought incoming.
  5. Esp in the localized torch spots just to the east that always run warmer all year around.
  6. The aerator is a beast though. Soil is a still little too soggy from all the rain, and I have hilly terrain...so some spots are going to get practicaly tilled, which I’m fine with.
  7. Well then....Long yardwork day was going as planned until I drove the aerator machine, on my 2nd stripe no less, over an underground bee nest and was stung 4 times in the back of the leg. Didn’t even see the sob’s coming.

  10. When should the weenies look out for the AK pig, late Oct/Early Nov?
  11. Just spread the love to all and stop hogging the goods, that’s all. We helping you in Sept finally get the liquid qpf, so we in this together.
  12. Now I regret not aerating and seeding last week. Anyway, should I cut the grass low before I aerate and lime/seed?
  13. I wouldnt mind a tame SE ridge though especially in a miller B type flow. Last thing anyone needs around here is another SEMA centrique winter.
  14. Yea, 06/07 should be looked at from a big picture and not an imby perspective. Some big players involved.
  15. For a guy who dislikes coc weather you sure talk about coc’s alot.
  16. Aerating this weekend. Curious if I should lime or seed...or both. Soil ranges from ph4-6.
  17. Some streets were still closed off on the way in, cars being towed away. Riverside homes swept down the Housatonic. Memorable event.
  18. The sirens and alerts were going off just before 4pm, as the floods were occurring. Terrible job by Upton yet again.
