Ha. I’m not that shook. I just think we are in a bad phase for winters. Doesn’t mean we can’t get a good season here or there though but the general idea of struggling to produce big snows will be the prevailing theme. Years ago, a Jimmy fart in Harwich after a steak dinner would spin up a low along the gulf stream and the atmosphere squeezes out a foot without blinking. Maybe it’s Tippy’s HC fetish that is dominating our winters, I don’t know. I think when we look back 10 years from now we will remember the late 2010’s and early 2020’s as a pretty crappy period akin to the 80s or late 90s. It’s actually pretty normal to go through bad stretches so it’s nothing anomolous, I’m used to it growing up in CNJ. Maybe this winter will be solid but I’m not overly excited when many pros talk about an early start with an early finish with a strengthening La Nina while the big climo models show AN temps with BN precip. However, if Mother Earth drops a 20 burger on me this season after a 10 year drought...then I’m good. We’ll see but my expectations are very low this pre season.

Yea I am slowly coming around to a normal winter (whatever that means) from my initial ratter thoughts but it hinges on a good start. If we don’t start well then it will rat S of Pike.

Yea. Could be the same theme as last season except we get luckier on or two occassions too. Doesn’t mean the general theme of suck is negated though.

We have landphoons and zipper lows though so don’t underestimate how dangerous this region can be.

It’s about as extreme as it can get...so it will break soon. Like... we won’t go a full year where we start seeing cactus growing in our front yards.

It can break right for us on occassion but nothing worse then missing a big system by 15 miles to our E. Lately we have missed to our E, N, W, and S lol. I guess we were due after getting crushed in 10/11 and Feb 13 (just barely made it). Though I’ll never forgive the wife that I missed Feb 13, never.

We will never go into a prolonged drought in NewEng. At most a couple months when the stars align.
